AVOID - con artists and no customer service! I placed an order for a £200 pool table. I ordered it well before their ‘3pm deadline’ for next day delivery. However, I emailed them immediately after ordering (which they tell you to do on their website!) and stated that if it couldn’t be delivered the next day I would need to cancel my order (it was a birthday present) I didn’t even receive an order confirmation until 10 hours later, then received an email the next day stating they had just despatched the item, despite me asking them to cancel. A series of incredibly rude emails back from them, declaring they don’t cancel orders once placed and that you shouldn’t place an order with any expectation of a delivery date (despite them splashing next day delivery all over their website). In their words ‘i wish you luck as we have done nothing no other company would do, Its job I.E dispatching your order that has been placed’ They are incredibly rude, with no customer service. Conveniently all their phone lines are out of action, they blame covid but there’s no reason these shouldn’t be operational. The order arrived, 3 days late.. my son was incredibly excited, so despite my concerns we accepted the order. The pool table is extremely badly damaged in several places and hasn’t even left the box. I have no doubt this was already damaged prior to dispatch and this whole company is a con. They are now ignoring all my emails and left me no choice but to contact trading standards and attempt to get my money back through my credit card company.
