Item bought was defective. At my request, Thomann tested to see if there was a fix I could do locally (and verify the issue was not user related). That they have a technical department is impressive. Once it was determined that the unit was non-functional, a replacement was sent. Although this involved overseas shipping costs, Thomann did not charge anything extra for this or the testing service. They made things right with the purchase which is the best we can hope for with any business.
Communication is key in events like this. Thomann staff were prompt and wrote in understandable term (we used email).
