There are [at least] 3 aspects to customer service that come to mind: (1) the very existence, and then the availability of a product, (2) the efficiency of the shipping/handling process, and (3) the pricing and other billing aspects. With respect to (1), I am very grateful to Thomann for taking it upon themselves to manufacture and sell hard cases for various electronic musical mixer/recorders. Some years ago I bought an 8-track mixer/recorder called the Tascam DP-24SD (yes, it has 24 channels, but you can only record to 8). I carried the Tascam to many gigs, where it was my mixer as well as my recorder, with most of the band's instruments each going onto its own separate channel (which gives one enormous control over the final sound mix). Very useful device, but having dozens of buttons and dials, wherefore you don't want to stuff this thing into a burlap bag and throw it in the trunk of your car, hoping-against-hope that none of the settings will change every time you hit a speed bump. I was frankly amazed that Thomann made a hard case specifically modified for this very model, and I used the mixer and the cae for years. But, alas, the time came when the Tascam died and was irreparable. So I just bought a replacement, the Zoom Livetrack L-20, which has 20 genuinely-independent inputs for instruments -- more than twice as many as the old Tascam. Although I had no expectation of finding a Thomann hard case for this device, I was astounded to find that they do indeed have one! Thank you Thomann. I ordered it. The price was unbelievably low, $66. (2) Pricing: But when the email confirmation of the sale arrived, the price had more than doubled (about $145)!! What the heck? I thought I had accidentally ordered two of them, but, working back, I found that the huge price increase was due to a shipping cost that was considerably higher than the device itself! This is problematical to me, although Thomann doesn't seem to see a problem. It's not the cost itself -- $145 for this case is a perfectly reasonable price, and is actually LESS than I payed for my previous Thomann case. The problem is that I didn't see the S/H price coming, and it was a real shock. I would recommend to Thomann that they increase the apparent price of the case, and lower the apparent price of the shipping. I realize that they cannot control the prices charged by shipping carriers, but I presume they have at least some power to decide how to allocate the customer money, so that it at least looks like the shipping doesn't cost more than the case itself. It is because of this price shock that I didn't rate the product 5-star. (3) Delivery: The delivery was amazingly fast. I ordered it about a week before a Thursday night gig, and it was shipped with a Tuesday estimated date of delivery. Then I wrote to Thomann, complaining about what I regarded, at that moment in time, as the 'hidden' shipping cost. They wrote back assuring me that it wasn't hidden, but that I had merely missed it. Maybe. But the point is that in that email message, they informed me, in a Monday message, that my order had been frozen, because they weren't sure I still wanted it. Well, I never said that, and I presumed that there would now be no way to get the case in time for the Thursday gig. But when I advised them that I still wanted the case, they shipped it, on Monday, with a Wednesday delivery date. I didn't believe a word of it, but bright and early Wednesday morning the case appeared, like magic, on my doorstep. And it's a perfect fit for the Zoom Livetrack L-20. Incredible! Did they really ship it from Germany in 2 days? I don't know; all I know is that they said they'd get it here, and they did. So my review items (1) and (3) get 5 stars. Only the pricing gets less, and not because it was too expensive, but just because of the understating of the huge shipping cost. So, 4 stars overall. Now I'm wondering what other kinds of cases they make. I need one or two more, for other devices.

DJ Power WP-2 Bubble Fogger Terrible product and terrible assistance for a product that costs half the price on Aliexpress. I purchased this product from this company and not directly in China, hoping for assistance that reflects the name of the company itself. First shipment and machine... arrived defective, one of the 2 bubble shooters didn't work, I returned it and it was replaced. The second machine arrives, everything goes well until after less than 9 months the smoking part stops working. I ask for assistance, I ship and return it, after 1 month I am told that the machine cannot be repaired under warranty as there were residues of soap liquid inside and that the machine had not had the right maintenance, they send me photos of the tubes relating to the bubble shooter system, nothing to do with the smoke boiler. I point out to him that I asked for assistance for the smoke and not for the bubbles. Another month, to tell me the exact same things. Moral of the story, the boiler broke due to a defect in the machine and was not repaired due to the soap left in the pipes of the part relating to the bubbles. It should be noted that their expertise and photos have always been inherent to soap bubbles which, moreover, worked well. I don't know!!!

words cannot express how grateful I am that Gewa makes such high quality left handed violins, and that Thomann stock these and make these available. Lefties are a tiny portion of the market, and most are required to learn right-handed. You have however given me access to a very special life-changing instrument, and made me feel as though my left-handedness is something that deserves respect, an doesn't need to be hidden from sight. I now play much more naturally and fluidly thanks to Thomann, and have a very different relationship with music as a result. Thank you so much.

The mics I needed were impossible to get quickly in the U.S. Egor at Thomann found two of them in his stock and shipped them from Germany very quickly. He was easy to reach, had great pricing, and guided me throughout the process. I highly recommend him and Thomann.

Customer service is very good at letting you know when your orders ship and also very good at making changes to your orders when needed. They actually respond to you personally, which I find very nice. Its a personal touch and makes me feel more comfortable to that there is a human on the other end that you can reach out to if you have issues or if you want to share why you are buying a particular item. I have only good things to say about Marcus especially as he handles International orders, and he is a ROCKIN great dude. Lastly, the Harley Benton brand is amazing to me and I have much more expensive guitars, but play the Classic BT V in a Michael Schenker Tribute band. Order a T style recently as well and cant wait to get it.

My initial experience with ordering was actually very difficult. But that was not Thomann’s fault. Being in the US, I had to clear the purchase with my bank, after a few hours the order got placed on a Saturday. I figured it would go out Monday, but did not. The order shipped Wednesday, then UPS delays had my guitar not delivered until Monday, despite paying 89 dollars for the 2 day shipping. In between the time I ordered the guitar and it arriving, I emailed Thomann a couple times, expressing how upset I was with the experience up to that point. The representative I communicated with apologized for the inconvenience and let me know that they could refund me my freight costs if I wanted. Because I ordered an acoustic guitar, I was more worried about the environment it was sitting in, i.e extreme cold or humidity. I received the guitar and inspected it myself. It played fine but I wanted to take it to a guitar shop to have it more thoroughly inspected. The guitar shop inspected everything and told me there was no shipping damage and the set up was basically dead on minus one tweak I requested. They did grease the tuners and oil the fret board but that was not anything outside of regular maintenance. Because Thomann refunded my the freight costs, it covered the inspection/set up. I was very grateful they took care of me and my concerns as a customer first, especially since I am in the US. I figured they would be less willing to help a customer outside of their country, but I was pleasantly surprised. Harley Benton has a shop on Reverb that I can order from in the US, but they do not have as many options as Thomann. I will more than likely order another Harley Benton from Thomann in the future, I will just make sure to order a case or gigbag with my guitar. 5/5 customer service, 5/5 product.

Just received my HB Te-52. I own Gibsons, and American made Fenders, but this guitar holds it own with the best of them. How do they sell so cheap? Don’t know, don’t care. I would not hesitate to recommend one of these guitars, even in Liu of a Fender. Great guitar, great price, and great service 👍❤️

I bought a brand new drum kit from Thomann, which arrived within the estimated timeframe. Upon inspection however, the drum kit was damaged, and I contacted Thomann to report it. The returns policy quoted in response is clearly designed to deter customers from returning faulty goods. I was asked to take the drum kit (which I explained would not fit into my car) to a drop-off point, after which I was told shipping would take 15 working days. Only after the item is inspected will Thomann even consider shipping a replacement. I explained that this was not acceptable, as I needed a drum kit for use very soon. Despite my request, Thomann are not prepared to ship a replacement as quickly as they were able to ship the drum kit when I first bought it, or arrange for collection of the damaged drum kit. I therefore have had a damaged drum kit that I have not been able to use, sat in its original packaging, for two weeks. Evidently, Thomann are happy to take your money, but treat you as an inconvenience once they have it. I have used Thomann in the past, and have otherwise had a positive experience, but I will never be using Thomann again.

I had been researching pedalboard type power supplies for awhile and had settled on one in the US where I live. I ran across a review on YouTube on the Harley Benton Thunder 99. My intentions for this amp is to power a G112 Harley Benton speaker cabinet I had recently purchased (which is also an outstanding value) when I don't need to take a stack of speakers and a tube amplifier. First thing I'll mention is for both orders they were placed on a Sunday Evening from the middle of the states and were received on the Thursday of the following week. Outstanding delivery service! I'll tell you the Thunder 99 power amp is everything they say in the YouTube reviews. Very clean sound and can get quite loud even when plugged into an 8 ohm speaker cabinet. I tested the amp yesterday for several hours with no drop outs or changes in output using a Stratocaster guitar with a Fender Micro Mustang headphone unit plugged into the guitar then wirelessly sent to the receiver plugged into the Thunder 99 through the G112 Harley Benton speaker cabinet. This is how I intend to use the Thunder 99 for small solo gigs and open mics. With 2 inputs and 2 outputs I can connect my 8 channel mixer and send audio to two 12" passive speakers as well. This is a great little unit. I know there will be times I will drive my pedalboad wirelessly through the Thunder 99 into the Harley Benton G112 speaker. I'm thinking an additional G112 is in my future so I can go stereo if I want with the two speaker outputs. The Thunder 99 is just that versatile and what I've been looking for. Also with a 3.5mm aux in and headphone jack out I can jam to backing tracks without disturbing others in the room.

The service Thomann provides is so excellent! Not only did I find the drum cases I wanted, exact details, with a great price and couldn't find in the USA online marked (unless it was back ordered for months) but I'm also still in a "WOW" to how fast the delivery of my blue Drumcase's (coming from Germany to the USA) was. Artists need reliable music shops. So many thumbs up for this one!

I have bought seven guitars from Thomann, each of them under US$200. The six of their own Harley Benton label play as well as guitars costing US$1,000! Even more incredibly, they arrived at my home in the United States merely 4 days after being shipped from Germany!

A+ service. Ordered on Thursday night from USA received Wed. the following week. Puts Sweetwater to shame since I'm only 2 States away & paying 3x's as much for 1 guitar. Not only was the price I paid for 2 guitars far superior then Gibson, Epiphone, Fender, & Squier but the quality was better. I am a hobbist luthier & I'm telling you the Harley Benton guitars I received were so close to being setup out of the box I was amazed especially after my recent purchase of a Sonic Squier with only a single way trussrod. The only thing I ask Musikhaus Thomann is that they make sure the styrofoam used to support the guitars are all in the shipping boxes as one of mine at the body end was missing & there was no protection in the second box either to support for impact.
