Although the product does what is intended, had I actually experienced this hyper extension bench in person, I would have passed. The construction is sub par, utilizing very cheap metals and poor welds. Understandably, This is a budget bench. However, I could not imagine what someone at or near the weight limit would do to this bench. I am just under 200 pounds and there is a large amount of flex in the foot pedestal as well as the handles in front the padded area. I would recommend spending more money to get a superior bench. This one would be a let down.
