Overall, I’m really happy with my Titan Fitness GHD. I gave it 4 stars mainly due to the shipping experience—while nothing was severely damaged, a couple of pieces arrived with some finish scraped off, and one of the plastic endcaps was broken. Fortunately, Titan’s customer service was great and quickly sent replacement parts, which I really appreciated.
I was most concerned about the quality of the pads after reading some mixed reviews, but they completely exceeded my expectations. The pads are firm and supportive, and the covering feels really durable—definitely a high point.
Assembly took me about an hour and a half. It wasn’t exactly easy, but not overly difficult either. Just make sure to lay everything out first and pay close attention to the details—it’ll save you some headache.
My main critique is the wheels. They’re quite small and don’t roll very well, which makes moving this heavy unit a bit of a chore. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to note if you’re tight on space or plan to move it often.
I also noticed what others have mentioned about the tightness of the footplate area. It’s a snug fit getting in and out, but I’m hoping that’ll ease up a bit with regular use.
Despite a few minor drawbacks, I’m really glad I chose this model over other budget GHDs. The design matched the aesthetic I was going for, the build quality was better than expected, and the heavier weight gives me confidence when doing GHD sit-ups and hip/back extensions. It feels solid, stable, and like it’ll last a long time.
