I know the bar was a scratch and dent, but it was pretty beat up with chips in the metal. Looks like some rust on the end caps and c-clips, and made noise when spinning so I took apart and cleaned/lubed. Normally vendors sell stuff in this category that doesn't meet qc... This looks like stuff that was left outside and tested in a abuse test.
