I bought this because it was advertised as a 17" high competition bench and it is far from competition compliant. Very disappointed that I went through all the effort of getting this bench, building it, only to find it completely misses the mark on height. It is otherwise a pretty solid bench that's easy to build - so if you don't care about bench height, please check it out. I love that it's lightweight and easy to move - but it is very close to 18" tall (maybe 17 3/4" ). Very disappointed.
