Before buying I had read the reviews about lack of directions, or poor directions. The reviews were correct. I timed putting it together, which took about 56 minutes. After putting it together and tightening everything up the bench was solid. When laying back on the bench noticed and wobble. The middle support piece that touches the floor where the back base meets creates a high spot causing the back base to teeter-totter back and forth. I have placed two small pads of very thin carpet under each side that eliminates this effect. Paying what you are asked for this item, I certainly would think that I would not have to make this kind of adjustment. In the end, after the adjustment, this is a solid bench. Maybe mine is a one-off, hope so. If not, it is an easy fix to milling off a 1/4 inch of metal for your production line. If you would like to discuss this further feel free to reach out to me.
