When I ordered the complete pulley system on 7/24 it was advised that the item was on backorder, but would be in stock the following day. I only received the low pulley portion of the package on 7/27.
On 7/28 I emailed Titan Fitness and called customer service at 888-410-1503 and spoke with Jo (a woman) at 10:55 a.m. PST. Jo stated that the complete pulley package comes in two parts; a low pulley add-on and tricep/lat pulley system (upper pulley). Jo further stated that the latter was on backorder; however, that it would be in the office tomorrow, should be shipped and I would be receiving additional updated emails with a tracking number.
I didn't receive any updates via email from Titan Fitness, so on 7/31 I sent another email and called customer service again and spoke with Laura at 11:25 a.m. PST. Per Laura the item is now on back order until 8/14. When I asked if the item will definitely be available on this date and be shipped immediately Laura could not confirm. I advised her that I would not be able to receive mail/packages at my home for two weeks as of 8/22, as I will be out of the country. I requested a prepaid return shipping label and the 20% stocking fee to be waived for the return of low pulley add-on because of this. Laura stated that she would call me back within 48 hours after speaking to management in regard to the matter. I never heard back from Laura.
On 8/2 I emailed Titan Fitness the following info, checked the website and it stated that the tricep/lat pulley system is now on backorder until 8/19. This would mean that the item definitely won't arrive at my home prior to me leaving the country. Another issue is how the website showed the complete pulley system is on backorder until 8/2 while the tricep/lat pulley system isn't available until 8/19. See attachment. You can't have the complete system without the latter as it's nonfunctional. How is Titan Fitness stating that the complete system will be available sooner when it won't be?
On 8/4 I received the high pulley; however, only one of two cables was included in the packaging. I emailed Titan Fitness again. I asked if the length of cables is different, for shipping updates and tracking information. I didn't receive any response back. I received the second cable days later and it wasn't needed at all.
The pulley system arms are great, but the plastic wheels are garbage; I purchased three aluminum wheels from Amazon for $20 to replace them. The cable lengths aren't appropriate and much longer than needed for the T-3 Series Folding Power Rack, so I used wire clamps and thimbles to shorten them. I have the bottom pulley bolted on my rack, as well as the (shorter) top tricep pulley. I am able to remove the longer pulley (as needed) where the weight stack sits underneath using pins. All in all it works just as good as the UPS High from Surplus Strength for a fraction of the costs!
