I spent close to $1,900 on urethane bumpers. One of the things that made urethane bumpers appealing to me was the durability and vibrant colors of urethane. I expected these bumpers to look great in my gym for years.
When I received my order, 6 out of 10 of the 45lb plates were clearly discolored. No amount of scrubbing removed the discoloration. Something happened during the manufacturing process to change the color of the urethane.
I reached out to support and requested an exchange. Instead, I was offered a 10% credit for the 6 affected bumper plates. The credit came to just $75. I was told that the bumpers I was sent, were not considered defective because the issue was cosmetic. To make things worse, the bumper plates were further discounted on Titan's website since I bought them a week ago. I asked for a credit on the difference and support refused.
If Titan is unwilling to exchange the defective product, then I will open a dispute with my credit card provider. The product that was delivered to me was not as described. I did not agree to buy blemished or defective items. I only want what I paid for.
