I bought the hyperextension machine. I think it’s good but not great. There is a Fundamental design flaw in my opinion, which is that the pad where you place your hips, is split into two pads, leaving a couple inch gap in the middle. For me, that gap hits right in my pelvic bone, so when I’m hinging at the hips, it’s cutting right in. I wish it was one solid pad piece without the center gap.
