I've been a long time titan customer. I have the x6 rack, seated calf raise machine, functional cable trainer, a slew of accessories, and now this hyper v2.
The good:
Affordable
Easy assembly
The bad:
It does not have enough adjustability. I've got it slammed down as far as the pads can go and it still comes up to my hips when I'm on ecentric. This puts pressure on the front of my hips, and also limit range of motion. Come on Titan! Design the product to be adjustable so that it is usable by tall and shorter people! I'm 5'9". I'm right around average height for a male and yet even at the lowest possible setting it is still too tall.
The pads are terrible. Titan, this isn't hard to remedy. You guys know you could easily add an option for premium pads. If part for it!
So, to wrap this review up... cheap, easy to put together, poor design makes it unusable without modification for roughly half the population, and poor quality materials. This is likely my last purchase from Titan. I'm just gonna spend the extra and get something from rogue next time.
