I didn't realize that Titan charges a 20% restocking fee for returns. When the cost of shipping back the heavy bumper plates is considered, the net refund would be about half of what I paid.
In this age of the majority buying items sight-unseen on the Internet, their exorbitant restock fee is both deeply disappointing and puzzling. Are they actively trying to steer customers towards workout equipment sites that have real return policies?
In the future, I won't order any items from them that have a significant likelihood of having problems.
