Absolutely awful! This company is the worst. I have purchased 21 items in 22 boxes. I have only been able to leave 2 reviews. Shipping is not accurate. A few of the items showed up as stated. The majority of them were well past the timelines given. I wasn’t in a hurry and don’t hold it against Titan but if you are expecting the quoted timelines the items more than likely won’t make it on time. I had an issue with 25lb dumbbells I purchased. One showed up as a manufacturer defect. The urethane on one side of the dumbbell was substantially missing which looked terrible and made the dumbell unbalanced. I tried calling in to customer service. After 20 minutes of holding Titan has an automated message that comes on and says nobody is available and disconnects you. I have tried calling in more than a dozen times and have never gotten someone to pick up the phone and have been disconnected at the 20 minute mark every time. I filed for an exchange on Titan's website. You are only able to upload 4 photos on their website. They try to discredit problems by stating you didn't show a photo of the box damaged or there weren't sufficient photos of the defective item. I was able to get in email contact and showed 20+ photos and then was told the problem was “aesthetic” and didn’t affect the functionality of the weight. I responded back that I didn’t buy from the scratch and dent section on the website and I purchased their best urethane dumbbell with the expectation it showed up new and looked like it did on the website. I was offered an $18.49 credit. Cheenee Mallari was the rep I was in contact with. It took 7 days for this to be resolved. 3/12 - 3/19 via countless hours of reaching out. The dumbell replacement was finally delivered 4/1. 20 days later. I was planning on buying a dumbell rack and a total of 10 sets of dumbells. I was significantly disappointed during this customer service experience. However, I had already purchased half of the items in the set and since Titan eventually made it right so I continued to buy the rest of the items. My next point is DO NOT buy from the scratch and dent section. It specifically states that there are no discounts or returns. I saw my 25lb defective dumbell then listed for sale on the scratch and dent section of Titan's website NOT saying the urethan was missing and it was unbalanced. If I bought a weight from the scratch and dent section at a discount with the expectation it was scratched or dirty, etc and it showed up missing the urethane coating I’d be very upset because I was mislead. During the time I was waiting for the replacement - prices increased substantially. I called and ultimately got through to Alex in Sales. They will NEVER answer the phone on anything other than sales. The rack I wanted to buy went from $500 to $746 during those 20 days. The other dumbells also increased in price 25%. Sales wouldn't do anything about it. I bought the remaing dumbells and rack to finish the set I already owned half of. The prices now are very similar to Rogue. I contemplated just selling what I had already purchased and now buying Rogue. I should have. This rack was delivered later than their estimated times. Again I wasn't in a hurry so not terribly upset here. The rack showed up in 2 boxes. The "shelves" showed up on one day the the "legs" showed up another day. The "shelves" of the rack were packaged ok. I would have expected reinforced cardboard at least in the corners of the box or some extra styrofoam, etc but it didn't. They were a little banged up upon arrival with an obvious dented box. They are really heavy. Not as I would have expected but I was willing to deal with the condition vs having to deal with customer service again. The next day the legs showed up and were a disaster. Dented, busted paint, chipped, incredibly scratched up. I tried calling and was disconnect at the 20 minute mark like mentioned above. I filed a claim on the Titan website for a replacement on 5/9. I was offered a $45 discount on a $750 rack. I asked for a new set of legs. The rack also went on sale for $639. I asked about Titan's price match policy and they stated if the price drops within 7 days of arrival. I asked to please price match as I was on the 7th day. I was now working with the manager Duminique. She ignored my price match request with her next communication. I received a denial because there "wasn't enough documentation submitted". Again you can only upload a max of 4 photos on their site. I called and called and emailed 20+ photos. I finally received more communication and was told I should have purchased insurance. I said I shouldn't have to purchase insurance to reasonably expect a product to show up undamaged. The packaging of the "legs" in the second box was ridiculous. NO padding. Just two big heavy metal legs with plastic in a thin cardboard box. They were severely damaged. After many back and forth conversations I was sent a second set of legs. They showed up equally as damaged. Again the shipping package is a joke. I sent a follow up email on 5/24. On 5/29 I received this automated email - "Hello , we are sorry for the delay in getting back to you, we are experiencing an unusual amount of support requests. We are working as quickly as possible to get to your request and will respond as soon as possible. No further action is required. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Titan." Then I received another automated email on 5/29 - "Hello , we are still slightly behind on request responses. This is certainly not the experience we would like you to have and we sincerely apologize. Rest assured that your message is still actively awaiting a response from our next available agent. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Titan." It is now 6/24 and Manager Duminique and / or Titan has yet to respond or acknowledge my price match request. There are a few other reviews stating the same issues specifically with the "legs box" of this rack. There is obviously a packaging problem. Social media especially Facebook has many reviews with terrible experiences like this. I encourage you to look for yourself. In summary I have spent $4,235 at Titan. Almost everything arrived later than stated. Again, I wasn't in a hurry so not a big deal for me. Most items showed up ok. However, if you have a problem customer service is the worst and should be considered non existent. Buy at your own risk. Again with Titan's price increases in the last couple months they are similarly priced to Rogue. I would 100% buy there or somewhere else. Titan screens their reviews so you aren't getting the real experiences hence why I wrote about multiple issues here.
