It is reasonable to expect a playmat to last the few years that your toddler uses it but these Toddlekind playmats do not. It started peeling after a year of light usage and by the second year it became so worn out that it was embarrassing to have my friends and family see it. Unfortunately, we've had to buy an alternative product (from another company) and throw this in the rubbish. I try to be environmentally friendly and buy sustainable products but when companies like this exist it makes it extremely difficult. I contacted customer services who could offer 15% off a new purchase but refused to repair or replace the mat.
