“It is reasonable to expect a playmat to last the few years that your toddler uses it but these Toddlekind playmats do not.
It started peeling after a year of light usage and by the second year it became so worn out that it was embarrassing to have my friends and family see it.
Unfortunately, we've had to buy an alternative product (from another company) and throw this in the rubbish. I try to be environmentally friendly and buy sustainable products but when companies like this exist it makes it extremely difficult.
I contacted customer services who could offer 15% off a new purchase but refused to repair or replace the mat.”
“Not a good product and very expensive.
Part of our mat was in direct sunlight, these tiles discolours to a dirty brown very quickly. I didn’t know about the sunlight issue (nothing mentioning this on their website), & got a very condescending e-mail from them about this. They offered to replace the tiles which I accepted.
Then all of the tiles that were not in direct sunlight light at all discoloured (took about 1.5 months), again they offered to replace them but it was always going to lead to the same problem again & again.
The mats mark & dent very easily, & the gaps in between each tile also slowly come apart leaving slight cracks. Product is not fit for purpose.
This is a very expensive product & I would 100% look into going elsewhere- we eventually bought another mat from totter & tumblr which is absolutely fantastic & much nicer & better quality.”
