I wish I had started my instruction and practice years ago. This is exactly what I have been trying to find for what feels like my entire life. It doesn't feel like work, or exercise, or anything that I SHOULD do but quite the opposite. I really look forward to every practice twice a day. The most remarkable thing about TM isn't within those 20 minutes but the time afterwards and between sessions. It feels like a refresh or restart. If my mind were a room filled with furniture, then after TM my mind feels like half the furniture has been removed from the room providing me more open space. This extra space makes me softer, more present, and able to make decisions and choices more in line with my inner nature and with more compassion for myself and others. At first I was cautious that TM was only available through an instructional course, but having taken the course I know how necessary the classes are to the practice and not something you can teach yourself. I also respect the fact that this "restriction" actually safeguards and protects the integrity of the practice. The knowledge passed from teacher to student is the same as the first teacher to the first student.
