I have tried other meditation techniques before, with no real effect. I am not a "natural" meditator and my mind tends to race. With TM, meditation is easier. ALthough I have not transcended, or gone anywhere as deep as I could go; I do feel like I'm off to a good start -- I am more relaxed and focused after just one week. I am much better rested every morning. I am sleeping better.
