I am about a month in to my TM practice and I’ve noticed a lot of gains. Years of chronic stress, life long anxiety and generally burning the candle at both ends have set the stage for chronic fatigue. The fatigue has not been eliminated but I have noticed an increase in energy, especially after my afternoon/evening practice. I have always found it hard to shut my mind down and was challenged by other meditation practices in trying to clear my head out. With TM, I don’t have to stress about the fact that my mind is not not distracted. I think because I accept that whatever comes up during my meditation is what I need to be working on releasing (outside of TM), it has ultimately lifted some of the heaviness that I walk around with. TM has also reinvigorated my desire to have a calm home environment. Pairing TM and Marie Kondo is a winning combination. I had thought about signing up for TM for several years but I’m glad I finally did it. I am looking forward to what the months and years to follow will be like with TM as my foundation.
