I have had amazing physical benefits since I started practicing Transcendental Meditation. I have chronic fatigue syndrome and for years, my sleep has not been very restful. Because of this, I use an app in addition to my Fitbit to track my sleep quality. Before learning TM, I was averaging about 60-70% sleep quality (sometimes less), but two days after learning TM, my sleep quality went up to 97% and has consistently been so much better! I wake up feeling rested for the first time in years, and I continue moving through my days feeling relaxed and happy. These are not the benefits I was hoping for or expecting when deciding to learn TM, but they are better!
