I recently returned from Vietnam, spent two weeks over there, booked 4 flights and a bunch of hotels through Traveloka while I was there. A lot of them last minute. Didn't have any issues at all so not sure why there is so many negative reviews. The pricing on Traveloka was often quite a bit cheaper than other platforms. Will continue to use and from my experience with this trip and others where I've used Traveloka I really haven't had any problems and have saved a lot of money.
