I booked a ticket from SFO to Seoul and paid a fee for a seat. However, Trip.com has not refunded the seat fee after I canceled the seat. Korean Air informed me that they have not yet received my ticket payment, even though I purchased the ticket three weeks ago. They also said that since my departure is still two weeks away, I should be able to cancel the seat and receive a full refund.
I have called Trip.com more than 10 times, and they always claim that they have submitted a request to Korean Air and are waiting for a response. However, this is a lie—Korean Air has not received any such request and has not even received the original seat payment.
