“Horrible company/website to work with. I booked a 1 king bed with couch bed room at a hotel that doesn't even provide that kind of room. Hotel statement that they have informed them that they don't have those rooms but yet they continue to book them. Now I'm stuck fighting for a refund. Never again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them!!!”
“I booked an internal flight and was asked to pay £53 for hand luggage by trip.com as their reservation says absolutely no carry on luggage - checked the flight operator and hand luggage included and I was able to take hand luggage on free of charge - not happy that I could have been charged - I am certain that trip.com would have taken my payment”

“Avoid Trip.com at all costs
I entered in my information, clicked previous passenger details like I have for many other flights and then reviewed my information and pressed submit. Upon looking at my ticket I realized the spelled my last name wrong, I figured because it was within 24 hours that things would be okay and if I had to cancel my ticket I should be refunded completely as both airlines said on their pages that full refunds would be issued within the first 24 hours.
I initially requested a name change, I had to pay for them to deny the request and then they told me I would only receive $350 back of my $790 ticket. I have wasted an entire day going back and forth with customer service to be let down with their service.”

“I booked a ticket from SFO to Seoul and paid a fee for a seat. However, Trip.com has not refunded the seat fee after I canceled the seat. Korean Air informed me that they have not yet received my ticket payment, even though I purchased the ticket three weeks ago. They also said that since my departure is still two weeks away, I should be able to cancel the seat and receive a full refund.
I have called Trip.com more than 10 times, and they always claim that they have submitted a request to Korean Air and are waiting for a response. However, this is a lie—Korean Air has not received any such request and has not even received the original seat payment.”
“My wife and son booked Scoot Flight via Trip.com. We received flight confirmation and Apps does reflect the Scoot flight details with booking number.
Upon arrive at Changi Airport Singapore Scoot counter do not have our flight details and trip.com hotline said over phone that our flight is cancel.
Trip.com did not send notification of any cancellation.
Trip.com did not refund the monetary paid accordingly as paid for the Scoot Flight ticket.
Trip.com still reflect the flight data in apps.

“Booked a 3 hour direct flight. Itinerary was changed a month later to a 14 hour overnight flight with transfers. It did allow me to rebook but I had to repay and then wait on a refund. Very shady. Will not use again.”
“I was travelling from Seville back to London and I was stopped at the check in desk because apparently Trip.com inputted my details as from Dominican Republic and says that I lived in Canada - all of which is untrue. They also inserted a fictitious email address and handphone number which is not mine in the details. This caused them to interrogate me and check all my proof of documents to support I am who I say I am. The only thing correct in the booking was my name - which meant my passport didn't match to any of the details. This led to a lot of inconvenience and fear that I would be detained for false information or forged identity. Please don't use Trip.com if you want sanity of mind. Just to close off - I was eventually allowed to board the flight having shown them my trip.com booking, credit cards in my name, my UK residency card etc.”

“I don't usually write reviews, but I thought if this will save someone else from making the same mistake, then I will put in a review. I booked a connecting flight through trip.com only for them to book 2 separate flights with different reference numbers. I was also unable to retrieve my booking directly with the airline because their staff used their login details for the booking. Save yourself the effort and potential anxiety attack and just book with someone else. I've used airline agencies before, but this one is just a NO.”

I recently booked a ticket through Trip.com from Dhaka to Doha, but I was denied entry at Dhaka airport due to an Indian transit visa requirement that was not disclosed during booking. I lost 25,000 INR because of this, and the customer service has been appalling.
To make matters worse, I have upcoming tickets worth 50,000 INR for March 12, and Trip.com is offering me less than 20,000 INR for a refund, even though the airline is offering more. Additionally, I can't cancel or reschedule directly with the airline as I booked through Trip.com, and they are charging me over 30,000 INR in cancellation fees.
This is a complete scam, and I urge others to be extremely cautious when booking with Trip.com. I feel completely robbed by their misleading terms and conditions and lack of support. Be aware before you book!"”
