Trip.com ruined my 40th Birthday experience! They did not appreciate me as a customer and I would never use their services again. I feel terrible on my birthday, which is a day that I should feel good considering I only get one 40yr birthday

-Aside of a competitive price compared with other services, the "pay at installation" option is a GREAT feature.

I booked a ticket from SFO to Seoul and paid a fee for a seat. However, Trip.com has not refunded the seat fee after I canceled the seat. Korean Air informed me that they have not yet received my ticket payment, even though I purchased the ticket three weeks ago. They also said that since my departure is still two weeks away, I should be able to cancel the seat and receive a full refund. I have called Trip.com more than 10 times, and they always claim that they have submitted a request to Korean Air and are waiting for a response. However, this is a lie—Korean Air has not received any such request and has not even received the original seat payment.

My wife and son booked Scoot Flight via Trip.com. We received flight confirmation and Apps does reflect the Scoot flight details with booking number. Upon arrive at Changi Airport Singapore Scoot counter do not have our flight details and trip.com hotline said over phone that our flight is cancel. Trip.com did not send notification of any cancellation. Trip.com did not refund the monetary paid accordingly as paid for the Scoot Flight ticket. Trip.com still reflect the flight data in apps. We rate zero to this service provider trip.com.

Booked a 3 hour direct flight. Itinerary was changed a month later to a 14 hour overnight flight with transfers. It did allow me to rebook but I had to repay and then wait on a refund. Very shady. Will not use again.

I was travelling from Seville back to London and I was stopped at the check in desk because apparently Trip.com inputted my details as from Dominican Republic and says that I lived in Canada - all of which is untrue. They also inserted a fictitious email address and handphone number which is not mine in the details. This caused them to interrogate me and check all my proof of documents to support I am who I say I am. The only thing correct in the booking was my name - which meant my passport didn't match to any of the details. This led to a lot of inconvenience and fear that I would be detained for false information or forged identity. Please don't use Trip.com if you want sanity of mind. Just to close off - I was eventually allowed to board the flight having shown them my trip.com booking, credit cards in my name, my UK residency card etc.

Booked a trip a month in advance for work. My employer canceled the need for the trip and trip.com did not refund my tickets.

booked a package flight and hotel. 10 minutes later they cancel my hotel and cant cancel my flight. They keep telling me they cant cancel and we just go in circles. Hardly speak any english. I am still not sure of the resolution here but avoid this at all costs.

made a car rental booking and paid in full.within 5 minutes I was told the car I booked was unavailable and it would take 7 to 10 days for a refund.what a rip off.

I don't usually write reviews, but I thought if this will save someone else from making the same mistake, then I will put in a review. I booked a connecting flight through trip.com only for them to book 2 separate flights with different reference numbers. I was also unable to retrieve my booking directly with the airline because their staff used their login details for the booking. Save yourself the effort and potential anxiety attack and just book with someone else. I've used airline agencies before, but this one is just a NO.

"Extremely disappointed with Trip.com! I recently booked a ticket through Trip.com from Dhaka to Doha, but I was denied entry at Dhaka airport due to an Indian transit visa requirement that was not disclosed during booking. I lost 25,000 INR because of this, and the customer service has been appalling. To make matters worse, I have upcoming tickets worth 50,000 INR for March 12, and Trip.com is offering me less than 20,000 INR for a refund, even though the airline is offering more. Additionally, I can't cancel or reschedule directly with the airline as I booked through Trip.com, and they are charging me over 30,000 INR in cancellation fees. This is a complete scam, and I urge others to be extremely cautious when booking with Trip.com. I feel completely robbed by their misleading terms and conditions and lack of support. Be aware before you book!"

The airline cancelled my flight and offered a full refund. Trip.com short changed me $330 ???? This was not a full refund. Avoid this company at all costs .

I had high hopes for this travel app, but my experience quickly became frustrating. While the app works well when everything goes as planned, it fails to deliver when problems arise. One of the most significant issues is the app's lack of meaningful customer support. There's no option for web-based communication, and phone support is only available in a limited number of countries. I spent nearly 25 minutes on an international call, only to be stuck with an automated system that didn’t provide any real assistance. When I reached out by email, I was simply told to contact the airline directly for any issues. This response offered no helpful guidance, no solutions, and no support when I needed it the most. As a result, I ended up incurring an additional $600 in costs due to the lack of proper help and advice. If you’re unsure that everything will go smoothly, I would strongly advise against using this app. The absence of reliable customer service makes it a risky option, and the consequences can be expensive.

Second worst experience with Trip.com. Their customer service is comparable to a bus station at the edge of a remote terminal. They canceled my flight once in 2017 at the last moment, putting me in a very difficult situation, and now they’ve done it again. They canceled my flight; I requested a reschedule, they rescheduled it, and then they rejected the reschedule. I asked for a refund, and they said it would take 15 days! My recommendation: travel by boat if you must, but don’t book with Trip.com.

I had a really bad experience with Trip.com. I bought ticket with Trip.com, but airline Sun Express cancelled my flight. Instead of solving my problem Trip.com offered me to cancel my booking and refund money. Just to be clear I bought a ticket for 90 euro, now I should pay 200 (!!!) for a new one. Nobody will cover up the difference between 200 and 90 euro. I should pay it by myself. It's not my fault that flight was cancelled and as a seller Trip.com doesn't even try to find a decision. Such a good business model, isn't it? To sell tickets, then cancel it and offer new one for 100+ much euro
