Dear Uber Manager ?
I am a senior citizen on a fixed income so I enjoy my take out once a week . This is the second time in a year I have had a problem with Uber Eats and they are non responsive . The first time I asked to speak supervisor but no One ever called me as promised .
Yesterday I ordered from a restaurant 2 miles from my house . On their own they redirected my order to a franchise on the other side of Miami 45 -60 minutes away. When I noticed driver so far away I called i was told to call when order arrived . 1 hour later I finally received order . Al the sauces and dressings many mayonnaise based had sat in the hot Miami sun in a car while poor driver had to pick up and deliver another order in between . It was unsafe to use any of the four dressings that were used to flavor the meal plus the mayo based salad dressing was HOT! I called three times since yesterday and sent three help messages which they discarded . I explained a picture of dressings can not depict the temperature of food . I was told to send pictures they reviewed and said ok they would address issue . This is a FOOD safety issue . Food safety issues are paramount when providing food services . If they had fulfilled my order 2 miles away or cancelled that would have been the appropriate measure . No refund , no courtesy , no compassion or sympathy for a Uber One senior citizen who takes Ubers everywhere because I don’t drive . Please someone from UBER call me , text me email me and restore my faith in society .
