Uber Eats is taking advantage of customers, especially vulnerable individuals like my elderly mother. Recently, she placed a $50 order that, with fees, was already overpriced. The delivery driver mistakenly took her food to a hospital, despite her being at home. When she called to correct the issue, the driver canceled the order and kept the food. To make matters worse, Uber Eats refused to issue a refund, provide a gift card, or reorder the food, claiming the restaurant had already been paid. In these tough times, refusing to refund or assist customers is unacceptable. This experience has shown me how unreliable and exploitative Uber Eats can be. Never again.
