I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent issue and to provide further clarification as requested.
On Christmas Eve, I reached out to Uber Eats support for assistance with switching my order from delivery to pickup. The reason for my request was that no delivery drivers were available, and I was already at the restaurant, prepared to pick up the order myself. Unfortunately, instead of accommodating my request, the customer service representative insisted that I return home and wait for a delivery driver.
Despite waiting for an additional 1 hour and 30 minutes, my order was eventually canceled. This left my family without the Christmas meal we had planned, causing significant inconvenience and disappointment. The only reimbursement offered was $15 in Uber Cash, which does not adequately address the discomfort and frustration caused by this situation.
