Uber Eats does not even deserve a single star rating and needs to be held accountable. This comment is in response to my second time using Uber Eats and I did so to be sure my mother and aunt received Mother's Day meals while I was at work.
UE did not honor a two-for-one deal and as I was unable to follow up on the issue within two days they refuse to take responsibility and provide a refund. Where most businesses allow at least a 7-day period for follow-up when a customer is dissatisfied, UE only allots 48 hours, which is insufficient.
It is also appalling that they do not have a call line for customer service, and furthering their cowardice, it lacks a conscience to be humane enough to create space for human-to-human interfacing. EU only provides a chat line with representatives that copy and paste the same responses. Uber Eats falls inexcusably short on customer service and lacks integrity and a general sense of humanity.
The lesson learned is to never engage with faceless businesses.
