Today I placed an order for 4:00-4:30pm and it was confirmed. The next thing I knew, at 12:45, I received notification that the restaurant, A****, was preparing my order! Not willing to accept an order 3 hours ahead, I started on the text chat with UberEats and also their “human agent”. After 45 minutes of trying to get them to understand my problem, I contacted the restaurant. They said that the order they received said 1:00pm and that UberEats would have to put the order through again. So, after googling, I found the customer service number for UberEats (well hidden). I called and explained. They needed to call the restaurant. When UberEats got back to me, they said that A***** wasn’t willing to redo the order. UberEats wouldn’t reorder it or “can’t” refund the money from the order. I am canceling my UberOne membership and won’t order again from them. I am out the $ I paid for a 4:00 order!
Update: UberEats delivered my order at 2:45! I guess this is the food prepared for 1:00! Not acceptable any way you look at it.
