The bnpl breaches multiple regulations
No notifications on the status
Not clearly explained how it works
Call customer services to find out why a large sum had been added to my account to be told that how it works.
Then to add insult to the case you get charged interest on the 50% added in a lump sum.
Got back in touch as reviewed the regulations to be told " if you had been in touch earlier...." .
Monthly statements saying your balance is £ including bnpl which is misleading as normal payments do not come off the bnpl balance.
Waiting for a final responce letter and off to the onbudsman.
I must admit the complaints department are far more professional than the front facing call center staff . That however does not make up for a 60 minute call and no other method of making a complaint.
