I have ordered from Very twice before and have no issues whatsoever but this third time was horrendous and I shall never be buying anything from them again. I ordered a wardrobe bundle consisting of 4 items of furniture. 5 boxes were duly delivered and taken upstairs by the delivery team. So far, so good. We started to assemble one of the smaller items, the 2 bedside units that were packed together in one box. I then opened another box of similar size expecting to find parts for a chest of drawers but there were another 2 bedside units. Easy, thought I, mistakes happen, I'll call and get the incorrect box replaced with the correct one. No can do they tell me. I have to return the whole order of 5 boxes and re-order. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss whether there is a more logical solution to this, was told he was on a call and would call me back when he had finished. Two hours later and no call back so I phoned them. No apology and no offer of another solution. They don't even have an exchange policy so they expect the customer to re-order the products even though Very are clearly at fault. So I now have to wait for the logistics people to call me (within 3 days), spend the time finding replacement furniture and hope that I get my refund promptly. Oh, and write a letter of complaint to the CEO.
