I was scammed by a man claiming the football top I sent him was counterfeit. It was not and there was absolutely nothing I could do to resolve the issue.
I contacted customer service after he failed to return the top. I was told I needed to send a certificate to say it was not a fake. The label inside proved it was authentic but he said it was fake. He sent lots of abusive messages and harassed me then he got a refund and was allowed to keep the top as he’d said it was counterfeit. When do you ever get a certificate with a football top at the shop? It had all the labels and tags. I assume he will sell it on.
Please be aware they say they will help with issues but then enable fraud from the buyers.
Thank you Collo1989 for a lesson on why not to use Vinted, hopefully my top you said you are throwing in the bin rather than returning brings you lots of joy and any other clothes I was going to sell will be popped into the charity shop in future.
