I’ve been using Vinted for a while, but my recent experience was very disappointing. I purchased a pair of shoes that were listed without specifying the embellishment type. The photos made them appear studded, but they arrived with rhinestones instead, which was not clear or properly highlighted in the listing.
The seller did not respond to my complaint, and Vinted’s customer support rejected my SNAD (Significantly Not As Described) claim. This shows a lack of responsibility and transparency.
I’m not happy with the customer protection provided by Vinted—it seems to heavily favor sellers, even in clear cases of misrepresentation. I will not be shopping here again and do not recommend Vinted to other buyers. The system needs significant improvement in buyer protection and dispute resolution.
