Vinted permanently banned my account with zero evidence, falsely accusing me of selling counterfeit items — all of which were 100% authentic. They never specified which item was “fake” or provided any proof. On top of that, they froze my account balance and are withholding my money with no explanation. I’ve appealed and offered to send items for physical authentication, but no real response. Unprofessional and unfair treatment of a seller with a clean history. Be careful trusting them with your funds.

Been blocked from buying of Vinted only ever bought random things totaling less than £100 they wanted proof of my wages etc and said it it’s because of money laundering closed the account. Awfull customer care waste of time stick with eBay not worth the hassle.

Same as the other numerous reviews: My account got permanently suspended after 3 weeks. I had bought one item (top) and sold an item (skirt). While I was uploading other items to sell, 4 to be exact: the system suddenly glitches and errors. I restart and find my account to be permanently suspended. Reasons: fraudulent illegal activities! > selling of fake items. I have absolutely no idea what that is about! The items were brandless items from my closet. Unless the bot thinks H&M or “Love” is a brand and then it’s still not fake! Of course customer service is a bot and if there is a human answer (which is hard to tell), you can forget about actually expecting assistance, or a decent answer at all! Total waste of time. Guess that person buying that item from me, will be greatly disappointed as well!

I was banned because they said I was selling a fraudulent item. It was a simple sleeveless blouse, all tags showing, including the tag with the brand name on it. I’ve been banned for life. Because of the ban, I was not given a refund for an item I received that was broken when I received it. Customer service is nonexistent for this app. If the AI bot says that you are doing something wrong, you can forget it, your account will be banned. Even appealing does nothing.

Just blocked my account saying I’m selling counterfeit goods which I definitely am not I’ve always had excellent reviews on selling my items and posting them quickly. I can’t send any parcels that people have purchased and I can’t explain to them why this looks really bad on me I am so upset about this. 😡

Recieved a lot of conterfeit items, when i reported them. They suspended my account for fraud. Items were obviously fake. I also bought birckenstock shoes on vinted. These were too small, so i put them for sale on vinted again. Got a warning from vinted for selling fake items (but bought the same shoes a week before on the vinted app itself) The last year this app is crazy bad. I hope they lose all their customers and go bankrupt

I’ve been a 5-star Vinted seller for years with excellent reviews. I dispatch orders the same or next day and list items regularly. I listed an empty Versace perfume bottle for display/collecting purposes only. It contained no perfume. Vinted removed the listing and immediately hit me with a 7-day selling restriction, meaning I can’t list, edit or sell any of my legitimate items while my appeal is under review. What I don’t understand is that there are numerous similar empty perfume bottle listings still live on the platform. If they’re against the rules, why are those still active? I completely understand enforcing marketplace rules, but a warning or removal of the listing would have been far more proportionate than blocking a trusted 5-star seller from selling for a week. Has anyone else experienced this? Were you successful in getting the restriction overturned?

Easy for selling stuff on. But buying stuff is a completely different barrel all together. Ive on two occasions bought something which i never recieved and customer service basically did nothing. The first time the shop I was picking it up from refused to give it to me despite me showing proof. They kept asking for a non existent QR code and evri never responded. The seller didnt give me money back and vinted took 0 responsibility. This time, vinted is CRAWLING with obvious AI and fake products. But reporting them barely does a thing the seller just responds them. Theres scammers that change your address on the shipping label! And send the wrong item. I had this happen to me recently with a £50 item and didnt get notified of the delivery until my buyer protection was already gone! I was frantic and blamed Evri for losing my package and was chasing them, until a kind stranger messaged me on Vinted and told me what really happened cos it happened to them and that theyd asked vinted to help and tried to report the person but Vinted did nothing. I contacted Vinted and told them everything and provided screenshots of everything. Despite saying customer service is within 48hours, I didnt get a response until several days later saying "this has been given to someone to investigate further. We will be in touch if theres an update." Which again, was several days ago. The seller of course never replied again. So thats £50 down the drain and honestly I dont think I can ever trust Vinted again when it comes to buying things. I know Ebay's design isnt as sleek but Ebay is at least actually trustworthy so I'm probably gonna start using them.

If I could give a negative rating I would- I highly suggest no one ever try to sell anything on this site- customer service doesn’t respond in a timely manner, and doesn’t follow their own rules when it comes to buyers leaving sellers unpaid for weeks on end.

Opened an account, uploaded my first 9 good quality clothing items to sell, had several potential buyers add some of these to their favourites but hours later realised my account had been blocked for supposed fraud !! Absolutely no explanation for this. They appear to claim I am scamming or selling counterfeit items. All I appear to be able to do is appeal this via a chat it that asks me to provide evidence for my appeal . What evidence am I supposed to provide if they don’t explain what they claim you have done wrong? Frankly this feels like they are scamming me just hours after creating my first account.

Suddenly I seem to have been blocked from Vinted, they say I have numerous accounts - NO!! Have been selling inappropriate goods - NO!! I do not sell anything. What I have done is report damaged and broken items and open packages, 5 times in 1 week!!! Absolutely disgusted that a machine can rule this!! Their loss - the money I have been spending!!!

C'est du n'importe quoi! Je paie la protection d'acheteure pour qu'au final quelqu'un m'envoie des contrefait, je les renvoie et elle prétend que j'ai pas envoyer les articles et vinted lui renvoie l'argent!

I can't register and use my home address as my suburb is not on the Vinted drop down menu. The postcode is there as well as the 30 or 40 other towns that have the same postcode. You cannot enter it manually.

Before the tracking issue vinted is having currently, I had ordered a parcel from Australia and according to Vinted’s tracking it took 4 days, parcel posted on the 14 July and said it was delivered on the 18 July, to get from the UK to Australia. When I flagged with Vinted they absolutely abdicated responsibility to help me find the parcel and made it my fault. I have had to work with Vinted’s own delivery company and the seller to try and track my parcel down. According to the Vinted’s delivery company it was delivered to them on the 18th and Vinted to that as it was delivered to me. They are still trying to track it down. The tracking of my parcel is still ongoing as are Vinted’s parcel tracking issues and it’s 7 days after the parcel had supposedly arrived.

I tried to sell my pre-loved coach purses and the system flagged one of the two as fraudulent. I resubmitted the purse they said was fraudulent, thinking the serial numbers weren’t seen clearly. They flagged me again. I appealed it. Informing them I only buy my purses from the Coach store or outlet and would need to contact Coach about possible fake purses. They sent me a response the next day permanently banning me. After reading some reviews, I’m happy I’m banned. I wouldn’t want to send my REAL Coach purses and not get paid. AND I was selling them at better prices than what was currently listed on the site. Why would a ten year old purse be listed as $200? It’s Coach, not Louis! I will also send Coach a review as well. Maybe it’s a bigger scam going on!!
