“This place is terrible for sellers, they use shoddy couriers who have lost three parcels in one one month and I have zero items or payment to show for any of it. The buyer gets refunded but the seller gets left in limbo. The second that this is resolved im closing my sales and moving to Depop”

“Item delivered not as described, it was torn, supposed to be bnwt. I was away when delivered and put my holiday mode on, but as I couldn't check the item within the very short 2 day period they have refused to give me any help. They will.not.lwt me have details of who I can formally complain to and are now ignoring me. Really poor, untrustworthy and not customer focused at all. Disgraceful”

“I ordered an article that was “blue” like sky blue on the photos on the announcement and the seller sends me a “black” article which was like dark black. The user had got like 3 photos of his “sky blue” jacket.. And when I simply tried to return my article the seller tried to argue and br mean to me saying it’s mentioned black and get off. Then I asked Vinted to help me return the article to the seller and get my money back as I do not need the article. They tried to support the seller saying, “ oh dark pitch black in different light shades can actually look like sky blue. As they are “lightly” same color”. People who are selling stuff there are clearly evil minded people and even pathetic is Vinted trying to support them. Never using this app!”

“Terrible customer service. Allows people to sell anything and when you want to return something because it's defective and the listing didn't show that, they argue with you for days. They have terrible reviews across platforms. Stop using this defunct company, they are making money off of misery”

“I’ve placed three orders and been ripped off three times. The first two products were fakes, the second seller even admitted as much in the chat. With the third purchase, I received one shoe in size 42 and one in size 43 from the same pair. And the best part is, I had to pay for shipping every time, including the return shipping. Of course, I didn’t get the “buyer protection fee” refunded either. The platform’s processes encourage repeated abuse of buyers and don’t even hold sellers accountable.”

“fake products: this app is good if you want to buy anything that's not jewelry, purses or anything with real value. because you have no way of verifying if it's real until you get the product and you only have 2 days to go verify if it's real before the sale is final. we bought a Pandora necklace took it to the store to add some charms and they stated that the necklace was fake. I tried to contact the seller but when you hit her message it has a link that says no longer available. be aware”

“Charged for an item I received that was damaged. Delayed. Responses from customer services. Pictures provided but apparently not good enough. How can a buyer be held responsible for an item they didn’t sell, pack or deliver.”

“My first time selling...very disappointed. I was stopped when trying to get a shipping label. The website insisted on my phone number, then refused to accept it, kept saying it was invalid..The same number I've had for years. There was no way to get around that. There is no customer service, they wouldn't let me delete my account. This marketplace is very bad, I'm definitely never using it again.”

“Got sent dirty underwear instead of shirts. Vinted refuse to do anything. Told to send back but it’s smells so bad it’s been in the garden and advised not to send back as the smell is putrid and health hazard. Seller became very abusive and Vinted refused to act on this either. Good idea but very poorly educated and no regard for health, allows bullying”

“Vinted allowed a raciest seller to racially profile me and report my item as counterfeit even after i uploaded proof that it was not counterfeit. Bella5020 tried to purchase my item but when it was already sold she reported me as selling counterfeit”

“Coming from eBay the tech is trash. The reason why I'm leaving this rating is because I see how much money they are putting into marketing. They need to spend more on the tech now. Should be able to EDIT photos at least.”

“Buyer was able to cancel order because they said used shoes smell bad and they obviously are supposed to smell good. Vinted refused to give me the money and buyer kept both money and shoes. They are very disrespectful to all sellers”

Asking for uk labels on handmade clothing purchased abroad else close my accounts with a ban and untill this is produced i am therefore guilty of fraud, what utter nonsense. “Vinted permanently banned my account with zero evidence, falsely accusing me of selling counterfeit items — all of which were 100% authentic. They never specified which item was “fake” or provided any proof. On top of that, they froze my account balance and are withholding my money with no explanation. I’ve appealed and offered to send items for physical authentication, but no real response. Unprofessional and unfair treatment of a seller with a clean history. Be careful trusting them with your funds.”

“Been blocked from buying of Vinted only ever bought random things totaling less than £100 they wanted proof of my wages etc and said it it’s because of money laundering closed the account. Awfull customer care waste of time stick with eBay not worth the hassle.”
