I tried to sell my pre-loved coach purses and the system flagged one of the two as fraudulent. I resubmitted the purse they said was fraudulent, thinking the serial numbers weren’t seen clearly. They flagged me again. I appealed it. Informing them I only buy my purses from the Coach store or outlet and would need to contact Coach about possible fake purses. They sent me a response the next day permanently banning me. After reading some reviews, I’m happy I’m banned. I wouldn’t want to send my REAL Coach purses and not get paid. AND I was selling them at better prices than what was currently listed on the site. Why would a ten year old purse be listed as $200? It’s Coach, not Louis! I will also send Coach a review as well. Maybe it’s a bigger scam going on!!

They banned me saying I uploaded counterfeit item. It was a pair of Target jeans. A person can report you just to try and get you banned or get something free. They have AI review item not a real person to determine your appeal of ban. I would highly recommend people stay away from Vinted. They evidently spend all their money on commercials and are too lazy to hire actual humans for customer service.

Terrible. They don’t give a damn about users. Purely chasing profit and using and abusing customers to get there. Someone else needs to launch the customer friendly version of this and win.

Ugg! Trouble with listing Buyers couldn't access 'buy' option. Trouble with shipping. Used prepaid label, but package got lost in transit. Trouble with transferring fund from wallet. Site kept rejecting my checking account number. I listed six items and had major problems with 3. Not worth time and effort. Customer service stinks!

if i could put a 0 i would. My account was permanently banned for ‘fraudulent activity’ immediately after making a legitimate purchase using a payment method I had successfully used before. The payment went through, I received no specific explanation for the ban, and support repeatedly refused to identify what rule I supposedly violated. As a result, I lost access to my account and order history despite having a history of successful transactions. The lack of transparency and inability to meaningfully appeal the decision has been extremely frustrating.

Vinted are criminals, there was a parcel for me to collect in my local shop but none of my codes from inpost worked and inpost had marked it as collected. The shop needed the code to release it to me but knew it was my parcel. I contacted inpost and they said Vinted had to help as it’s through them. Vinted didn’t reply until after the shop told me the parcel had already been sent back to America. I sent them a Live Photo of the parcel which is distinctive and the seller also confirmed this was the parcel they sent still in the shop after the date inpost had marked it as collected. Vinted said because inpost had marked it as collected they completed the transaction and charged me for the item. Have deleted all my listings now and will not use them again. Let this be a warning to anyone using it, they don’t consider evidence whatsoever. The seller was really helpful and kind - they should take a leaf out of her book.

Been a buyer and seller for long time. However as a seller experience with them is terrible. I have amazing reviews and have had lovely customers. HOWEVER, they force me to become a pro seller meaning no one can leave you feedback for 14 days and you don’t get paid for 14 days either. By which time many buyers forget to leave your feedback. They made me go Pro as said I had made too many sales. So strange when I found many accounts that weren’t pro selling many more items than me. I found my account to have been frozen as they aren’t happy with something I’ve sold or say I’m too commercial yeah that’s why they made me GoPro so I’m very confused. They also don’t like you selling handmade items. Sent them repeated messages with screenshots of many other sellers who sell similar to me on more goods that they would consider commercial suggesting that they are being unfair towards me and asking for more information. They simply ignore all my messages. Any message I did get at the beginning was just a cut and paste. The customer services is just awful, odd when they’re making money out of us. Zero customer service.!

The concept is BRILLIANT. The customer service is horrendous(and that's being generous). If you have a problem-you are SOOL. Also, good luck getting your refund. Get your credit card company involved, email, message ....its a lot of work. They are NOT customer friendly.

I sold an item on this garage sale platform. The buyer said they did not receive it. I guess they do not know how to you a tracking number. So when I tracked the item it said, "BUYER RECEIVED IT". The BUYER RATED ME A 1.0 BECAUSE "SHE DIDN'T RECEIVE IT." When I complained to Vinted about a bad rating when she received it, they basically told me they can do nothing about it. Don't use this platform.

Such a pity that Vinted has become such a headache. I've bought and sold so many items on this platform but the technical aspects have made it very difficult to use. Strict deadlines to return items need to be respected (ok I get it) but when you're waiting for a response (indicated within 48hours) from customer services, and only 4 days later I receive a response unrelated to my question and again wait several days for a response my sale is closed and I'm stuck with the item. Such a pity. They seriously need to work on their policies and response times! Unhappy customer

In the past I have sold a lit of items on vinted with no issues. Recently its become a logistical nightmare. People requesting returns because items don't fit. Even stores have these issues due to different manufacturers and body shapes. You can only list the brand and the size. When I have purchased items that don't fit on vinted I just sell them on and say if its tight at bust etc. Then the latest scam is people claiming items aren't authentic. I bought a branded t-shirt from a high street store, wore it a few times, dold on vinted and then someone who purchased it then claims its inauthentic. Everyone seems to want something for nothing and its so annoying

Customer Service Help for buyers is absolutely atrocious! Bought an item which had a hole in it. I had to pay for return postage which was more than I paid for the item! "THEY ONLY WANT OUR MONEY" And this "BUYERS PROTECTION FEE"? Well! Again, They only want our money!

Easier to list items compared to ebay. However as a seller be prepared for people wanting something for nothing. For the sake of a pound less, even on new items. As a buyer you can grab a real bargain and decent stuff.

Customer service awful seller sent item That was the wrong size (listed as 20/22 item was size 16 reported it within the 2 days as specified Vinted disputed that it is very Robotic kept sending requests that were not about the issue concerned In the end they paid the seller and left me an item that was useless ai have now left them and would advise care when dealing with this company

Awful customer service. They expected me to post a parcel back to a seller within 5 business days, despite me explaining I was currently in hospital with my unwell baby, after having major surgery myself (a c-section) and being unable to walk properly yet and also unable to drive for 6 weeks. I explained we were looking at a ten day stay. The seller was completely at fault in this situation. The customer service team were robotic in their responses, un-empathetic and quite frankly just ridiculous. Avoid!

VINTED WORKS COMPLETELY BY AI! All their reports and customer services works by AI! People constantly report my ads for NO REASONS and AI deletes them without even checking them and sides always with reporters, even if WRONG. when u try reach out to customer service its only AI WHO KEEPS ANSWERING U THE SAME WAY! (Literally copy paste answers.) Expensive shipping costs. Every small items under 5€ should have FREE shipping. I get already TWICE REMOVED ORIGINAL ITEM saying its fake and its not, THEY LET AI DECIDE EVERYTHING?! If u have more than 5 similar items from same category they will restrict u by saying u are doing bulk selling even if u are not, and people even report u from selling similar kind on items many times so its impossible to make any kind of money by this app when App complete runs by AI.

As a seller I noticed my item sizes been changed to some nonsense and Vinted say ‘we have updated our size blah blah blah, if they’re wrong you need to manually amend’ lucky I don’t have 100’s they are a joke
