I sold an item on this garage sale platform. The buyer said they did not receive it. I guess they do not know how to you a tracking number. So when I tracked the item it said, "BUYER RECEIVED IT". The BUYER RATED ME A 1.0 BECAUSE "SHE DIDN'T RECEIVE IT." When I complained to Vinted about a bad rating when she received it, they basically told me they can do nothing about it. Don't use this platform.

Such a pity that Vinted has become such a headache. I've bought and sold so many items on this platform but the technical aspects have made it very difficult to use. Strict deadlines to return items need to be respected (ok I get it) but when you're waiting for a response (indicated within 48hours) from customer services, and only 4 days later I receive a response unrelated to my question and again wait several days for a response my sale is closed and I'm stuck with the item. Such a pity. They seriously need to work on their policies and response times! Unhappy customer

Customer Service Help for buyers is absolutely atrocious! Bought an item which had a hole in it. I had to pay for return postage which was more than I paid for the item! "THEY ONLY WANT OUR MONEY" And this "BUYERS PROTECTION FEE"? Well! Again, They only want our money!

Customer service awful seller sent item That was the wrong size (listed as 20/22 item was size 16 reported it within the 2 days as specified Vinted disputed that it is very Robotic kept sending requests that were not about the issue concerned In the end they paid the seller and left me an item that was useless ai have now left them and would advise care when dealing with this company

Awful customer service. They expected me to post a parcel back to a seller within 5 business days, despite me explaining I was currently in hospital with my unwell baby, after having major surgery myself (a c-section) and being unable to walk properly yet and also unable to drive for 6 weeks. I explained we were looking at a ten day stay. The seller was completely at fault in this situation. The customer service team were robotic in their responses, un-empathetic and quite frankly just ridiculous. Avoid!

VINTED WORKS COMPLETELY BY AI! All their reports and customer services works by AI! People constantly report my ads for NO REASONS and AI deletes them without even checking them and sides always with reporters, even if WRONG. when u try reach out to customer service its only AI WHO KEEPS ANSWERING U THE SAME WAY! (Literally copy paste answers.) Expensive shipping costs. Every small items under 5€ should have FREE shipping. I get already TWICE REMOVED ORIGINAL ITEM saying its fake and its not, THEY LET AI DECIDE EVERYTHING?! If u have more than 5 similar items from same category they will restrict u by saying u are doing bulk selling even if u are not, and people even report u from selling similar kind on items many times so its impossible to make any kind of money by this app when App complete runs by AI.

As a seller I noticed my item sizes been changed to some nonsense and Vinted say ‘we have updated our size blah blah blah, if they’re wrong you need to manually amend’ lucky I don’t have 100’s they are a joke

If I could I'd give this off brand selling app no stars, they blocked my account permanently for no reason I didn't even sell anything or look at anything I had the account for 3 days then they banned it, this garbage site isn't EBAY.

I bought a pair of boots on Vinted, for which I paid buyer protection, the seller photographed the boots in dark mode, which made them look black and difficult to see the true colour, or any faults, she described them as new and unused, when they arrived, I was horrified to see they were faulty, with stitching coming undone, white holes and a rigid fold on top left hand side, that stuck into your foot They were light grey in colour and to say I was disappointed, would be an understatement, the boots were unfit for purpose and I requested a return, but the seller didn't agree and argued to customer service, said she didn't agree, I am waiting for the outcome and hopefully a full refund, I hate the boots and I want them gone! I will write an update about this sorry saga, I am waiting to see if I get my refund, fingers crossed, I will be posting an update ASAP!

Provided evidence that the item I was selling was genuine, they approved it to even go on the site. Customer complained counterfeit. I provided receipts, emails from Harvey Nichols where item purchase, SKU code. Vinted simply ignored everything and item approved to be returned. Waiting to see if i get it back. Shocking customer service and will never use again.

1 Star is flattering I bought a branded tee shirt that was described as very good condition. It was off white and had holes in it. I've put better clothes in the bin. I took it up with the seller and they wanted me to pay the postage. So I am out of pocket either way if you include the so called buyers protection. Vinted wasn't interested robotic answers absolutely awful. I wouldn't use them anymore

They have uneducated, useless support team. They never try to solve anything or be fair in anything. In case buyer make any damage for your item, they take buyer side and do not care about Sellers and their loss. I hope one day, they have better service and better terms And rules regarding both buyers and Sellers.

Bought a dress came broken and fake brand. Vinted sided with the seller even admitting themself the ad was 'wrong'. Vinted and the seller arerefusing to show proof the dress being authentic even tho Vinted told me to wait for it.....

I’ve always bought and sold on Vinted Let’s start with the first issue: they allow people to sell fake items or free newspaper giveaways at inflated prices. According to one profile, after buying an item, they deleted all their photos and unfollowed everyone; after rushing to post it within an hour of purchase, they vanished and never replied, not to mention the slow delivery – I saw my item returned to me after a good month and a half. Today, after the start of March, another item was sold. After multiple reports that the buyer hadn’t received any notifications about my dispatch, and following a month without a response from customer support, we received notification that the parcel had been lost. I’ll be deleting my profile soon – don’t trust them!

In order to become a seller on an item I listed and was sold, I was asked to provide a link to my bank account and password, not just my credit card number. Since I am a senior with my life savings there and not just a young seller with $100, I refused to do this. So, this app is not for me.

Paid on Jan 1 with Buyer Protection. Parcel lost Jan 7, never reached Vinted hub. 77 days later the order is still suspended and no refund. Support keeps repeating the same messages about “investigation” and “more time” while missing all deadlines. Seller confirmed the loss, tracking dead for 2 months. Buyer Protection does nothing. Feels like a scam.
