“Overall vinted is a good site to bag yourself a bargain. In saying that there are a lot of people who are only interested in ripping you off as with any selling sites. The key things to follow are if you see anything on sites like Vinted is ALWAYS check the sellers reviews for past sales. If they don't have any then that should be a red flag. Vinted is full of items for sale that are too good to be true. Example: A Rolex watch costing well over a grand being offered for less than a tenner. Yeah right. 🚩Remember ALWAYS check the sellers reviews. If they don't have any then save yourself the trouble of potentially being ripped off. 🚩Is the item far too cheap for what they're offering? Aa I said there are countless Rolex and other top branded items on Vinted which just cannot sensibly be for sale because the price is far too low.”

“The app works well overall, but it's quite easy to bypass the rules by posting forbidden items at night. Some sellers list things like used cosmetics or any other restricted products late in the evening, when checks seem slower. If the item sells, they ship it and get paid. If not, they delete or hide the listing before morning and try again the next night. This creates an unfair "night market" that breaks Vinted's rules. On Vinted during the night hours you can practically sell anything, absolutely anything!! I think better moderation or automatic checks during night hours would help fix this.”

“The concept is brilliant for both sellers and buyers. If you are lucky enough to not be “targeted” by AI, all good. The second you have an issue though, customer service is not that great. You mainly “converse” with bots and only after several emails and messages, an actual employee gets dragged into conversation. If your account gets suspended or permanently deleted there is no way back. You could spend the next 30 years sending them emails to prove they were wrong, cuz there is no coming back on the bots’ decision to close the account. That being said, Henry from customer service was very polite, even though he could not reverse the almighty 🤖 decision to close my account. Also, if you do have your account closed, they at least allow you to recover all the money you had in your Vinted account, hence why they get 3stars”

“Only works if everything is Ok but when you have an issue like item not fitting you properly or not as described still the seller decides whether giving you a refund or not. Basically you are stuck. I sent pictures proving my dissatisfaction but the seller suggested me to resell the item and in her hands was to send me the “refund “option but she didn’t so Vinted has been a disappointment. I won’t buy second hand stuff anymore!!!”
