Blocked my acc without any explanation. When I sent inquires about blocking me, they used automatically generated answers. Terrible and embarassing user support 0/10. Do NOT recommend!!

Schlechter Kundenservice und null Schutz für Käufer:innen! Ich habe ein Produkt mit einem klaren Mangel (Fleck auf weißer Bluse) erhalten, der im Angebot nicht erwähnt wurde. Trotz mehrfacher, gut belegter Reklamation hat der Vinted-Kundendienst nur mit Standardfloskeln geantwortet – keine Lösung, keine Rückerstattung, keine Verantwortung. Statt Unterstützung wurde ich hingehalten, bis eine Rücksendefrist abgelaufen war. Vinted ignoriert dabei sowohl seine eigenen Regeln als auch geltendes deutsches Verbraucherrecht (§ 434 & § 357 BGB). Wer als Käufer:in auf Fairness und Schutz hofft, wird hier bitter enttäuscht. Sehr frustrierende Erfahrung!

First time ordering from vinted 2 or three days i get a message your order has been cancelled no reason why you will get tefund blah blah..after reading reviews i pretty sure i wont ne getting my refund..wont be shopping from them again..stick to ebay!

The customer Support representative sana is apalling . gave me wrong advise and when I pressed her she reported my account for behaviour. Unprofessional , no knowledge.

I have been loyal customer for over 3 years, and have bought and sold several items. Recently in February I decided to take a leap of faith and purchased an item for £194.49 pounds. The parcel was lost or misplaced by the courier so I disputed the transaction immediately. After waiting for 2 months, I sought help from my bank and raised a dispute, which any normal person would do after waiting for 2 months for a refund of a lost parcel. My refund was finally initiated, and then blocked or failed because of the dispute from my bank. I reached out to customer support and they asked me to cancel the dispute, which I requested my bank to do immediately. I also sent proof to Vinted, along with a letter from my bank stating the dispute was cancelled. The dispute was cancelled on 9th April. It is now 13th June, and I still don’t have my refund. The customer service team is rather incompetent and keeps sending me messages that a bot would regarding my issue. They also keep closing my ongoing conversations abruptly. I have been waiting close to 4 months now for my refund of a lost parcel, which Vinted too has deemed as lost. There is no accountability or morals they have, and you too will likely never receive a refund, because they do not care. The legal team too will not try to resolve your case. I can never trust Vinted again, and everyone should be made aware, solely due to the amount of stress and anxiety I have been put through, and wouldn’t want anyone to go through. I lost almost £200 pounds of hard earned money.

Have sold a few items and the courier they make you use YODEL has not even turned up on all these occasions! You book a day, stay in and then they send a message with a time slot. Then behold no courier turns up! Apparently they get 3 tries at pick up! Obviously think sellers have nothing better to do than to wait in for collection! No calling cards left so NO ONE has ever been! Please NO ONE use this service as it is diabolical! Not good for a business VINTED or YODEL

I had 10 board books for sale, customer created a bundle' of 5 board toddler books 2 brand new and 3 in excellent condition. I took photos of every page showing the perfect condition including covers all perfect. Customer claimed they were in bad condition and took photos of old books of which were chewed and damaged. I was given my first bad feedback after hundreds of 5 star reviews. Vinted said they could not remove the feedback but they hope future experience will be better. No one to speak to this way after receiving 3 automated messages. So frustrating as she had already asked for price reduction and got the 5 books discounted.

Bought an item which was sent to a locker. When I opened the locker, the locker was empty. I immediately contacted the shipping company, seller and Vinted. Because I opened the locker the item was marked as “delivered” even though I didn’t receive it. In fact, the item was scanned for a return to the buyer subsequently. In the end Vinted just released the money to the seller. Evri admitted that they lost the parcel. I appealed the decision and they just stopped communicating with me. Appalling service. I paid for buyer’s protection but received none.

The app works well overall, but it's quite easy to bypass the rules by posting forbidden items at night. Some sellers list things like used cosmetics or any other restricted products late in the evening, when checks seem slower. If the item sells, they ship it and get paid. If not, they delete or hide the listing before morning and try again the next night. This creates an unfair "night market" that breaks Vinted's rules. On Vinted during the night hours you can practically sell anything, absolutely anything!! I think better moderation or automatic checks during night hours would help fix this.

Package went missing. Inpost was unhelpful. Said Vinted had to instigate investigation. Vinted customer service refused. Kept repeating automated script. Horrible experience! Never again

I reported a possible scam ring on Vinted: multiple accounts flooding the platform with laughably fake Chanel and dubious “Max Mara” pieces, complete with bargain-bin photos and suspicious descriptions. I even detailed the frequency and red flags. Customer service? Utterly uninterested. They replied they wouldn’t take action. Apparently, Vinted prefers to let its buyers play a game of counterfeit roulette. I’ve decided to stop buying there - might still sell, but I’m not sticking around to get scammed with Vinted’s blessing.

I have had a few successful sales on Vinted, but as a buyer, my experience has been extremely frustrating. The first item I purchased—a perfume—never arrived. After having to wait for a full month to claim (even though delivery is supposed to take five working days), Vinted gave me just two days to report it. I did so immediately, but they still told me to wait longer. I am certain that if I had waited again, they would have claimed the window to report had passed. The whole process feels designed to avoid responsibility, and it is insulting. The second item I bought turned out to be fake. When I left a review to warn other buyers, the seller retaliated with a false 1-star review and messaged me repeatedly—over two days—trying to blackmail me into removing mine so he would remove his. I provided screenshots to Vinted clearly showing this and the seller contradicting himself about the item's origin, yet support simply sent me repeated template responses, saying reviews are only removed in cases of fraud—which is exactly what this was. My score dropped from 5 to 3.7, which is disheartening after all the care I put into my profile and the honest service I try to offer. Trying to get help for these basic issues is absolutely exhausting. The customer support feels entirely automated and shows no genuine engagement with the issues raised. To make matters worse, Vinted once removed all my listings because one of my photos (out of five real ones) was from a website. I understand the copyright rule (I didn't know at the time I uploaded the pictures), and would have removed the image immediately had I been warned. But instead, they removed everything without notice—including bumped listings I had paid to promote—without refund or any option to fix the issue. It was unnecessarily heavy-handed. Selling is fairly straightforward, but buying is a completely different experience. The number of counterfeit items on this platform is shocking. Vinted clearly benefits from the volume of transactions, and buyer protection is non-existent. I would strongly advise not spending more than £20 here—if something goes wrong, you are unlikely to be supported or refunded.

Vinted released funds to a seller who never dispatched the item. I followed all steps correctly. Despite this, I was met with 20+ identical automated replies and no actual support. Vinted’s system: • Does not detect unshipped items • Ignores valid refund requests if sellers stall • Sends threats for legal chargebacks • Avoids escalation, even when a formal complaint is filed • Responds to Resolver complaints with the same AI-generated text as in-app support They also tried to move the conversation off-platform via private email, likely to avoid accountability. I have referred the matter to Citizens Advice, Trading Standards, the ICO, and will continue until this is addressed properly. This is not a support team issue — it’s a platform-wide failure to meet the legal standards of UK consumer law. Use this app at your own risk.

If I could give a negative rating I would, item purchased in April lost by Evri in their warehouse. I was advised to wait until 30 May then able to apply for refund. When I did so, they said I then had to wait until 2 June before a refund could be applied for. So today 2 June I applied for a refund only to be told I have to wait Another 25 days!!! Agent just copy and pasting every previous message sent without reading that what he is now suggesting is now to wait 50 days!!!!

I bought item described as new without tags. I received heavily worn stained, ripped jumper. I was insulted by seller. I paid for return shipment. The seller received return but didn't refunded. There's no option to contact vinted and complain on my app.

I’ve been using Vinted for a while, but my recent experience was very disappointing. I purchased a pair of shoes that were listed without specifying the embellishment type. The photos made them appear studded, but they arrived with rhinestones instead, which was not clear or properly highlighted in the listing. The seller did not respond to my complaint, and Vinted’s customer support rejected my SNAD (Significantly Not As Described) claim. This shows a lack of responsibility and transparency. I’m not happy with the customer protection provided by Vinted—it seems to heavily favor sellers, even in clear cases of misrepresentation. I will not be shopping here again and do not recommend Vinted to other buyers. The system needs significant improvement in buyer protection and dispute resolution.

I've been using Vinted and today I got a damaged item that was added as in "very good" condition. I asked the seller if the item had any marks or issues, she said no. So i bought it and got this (see pictures). Vinted wants me to pay the shipping back to the seller (maybe for her to scam another person). I mean, I pay the buyer's protection and it's the seller that is protected. She loses nothing, I lose my money. This is weak!
