A lot of sellers try it on or are slapdash. Out of 5 purchased only 2 were as presented (or better). The rest were dirty, not new etc. Very little comeback if Seller decides to play hardball and nasty and Vinted likely to take their side from my bad experience anyway. You only have 48 hours to leave a review. If you don’t leave one they automatically get 5* which is ridiculous. You can’t leave a review if they refund. Vinted normally take the Seller’s side - there is no real buyer protection.

Postage when purchased an item says 7 days now day 9 and now it’s May 7 no update since 6 days ago poor customer service and delivery service Do not buy anything from Vinted as they obviously can’t guarantee delivery.

I have used vinted now for over a year. But just recently I have had an issue with the item I have purchased and wanted to get some help to resove the issue. All they do, send you very generic response and nothing gets resolved. I will be closing the account. Really disappointed in them.

People beware of scams !!! If they hand you easy tasks to do online for commissions do NOT accept!!! They will scam you in the name of Vinted.

Very bad !! Lost 1000 and the customer service so bad they don’t really care about you ! Even if you pay protection fee , and when you try to justify yourself and approve your innocent they close the account I’m so diasapointed 👎🏻 👎🏻 👎🏻

Tried to sell two Karen Millen dresses. One still had the tag attached . My account was suspended as they said the pictures I posted were not authentic . I clearly showed the labels and the tag. Found it impossible to deal with customer service . They don’t want to know .

1 star is too many! Sold items using the vinted app and never received the payments to my bank account. 100 days so far and still not received the £80 owed to me. Court case has now been opened

Accused me of trying to sell a fake item despite uploading numerous photos and complying with all their requests. They closed my account. Terrible customer service and no obvious route for grievances.

Absolute joke of a company. Had over 500 reviews with 5 star rating and banned for a week for listing something that went against their rules. Went away on holiday and when I came back had been banned completely. Tried to contact them, got through eventually and explained the position. They said decision has been made and “not much else I can do about it “! Outrageous and disgusting behaviour from a good seller!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I used vinted for the first time and listed 3 items. I had no idea how the process worked. A short while after listing someone wanted to buy an item. I was sent a link asking for my bank bank details so they could transfer payment. I gave them hsbc details they said hsbc was not a recognised bank. Could I use an alternative bank. I then gave starling details. They then asked for my card details to verify me with the bank. I was then asked to transfer over £300 and I was given another link. They said the would give it back within 30 mins. I was also asked how much was in my account. I was told this was how vinted sets you up to be a seller. I then closed the screen as it was obviously a scam. I had to put a stop on my card. I reported it to vinted. They asked me to pass my email to another department. I have not heard a word from them. My whole experience has put me off ever using them again. Also I would like to warn others. Their website is obviously not safe. Fraudsters are pretending to be from Vinted and sending very professional links.

This app only good for the concept but the reality once you join as a seller is not great at all. A lot of buyer as a scam, this is because their policy of buyer protection is great but not for a seller. The customer service is very poor, the worst CS ever for this kind of app. They seems a robot and not answer my question properly. The most thing that they can do refund the buyer, say sorry to the seller for the bad service, and carry on.

Bought an item on Vinted and the delivery person left the parcel outside the front door next to a busy main road when nobody was in. When I got home the parcel was not there, it was stolen. After having explained this to Vinted, Vinted took the money for the item I did not receive regardless, not questioning or taking into consideration that the parcel was left outside unattended and clearly not in a safe place, rather than perhaps leaving it at a safe collection point at a nearby affiliated shop as some delivery companies sensibly and responsibly do. Moreover I did not ask for the parcel to be left outside unattended at all, not even in a safe place and so that I did not receive the parcel is of no responsibility and nor fault of mine therefore not sure if Vinted’s apparently wash their hands of it stand complies with the Consumer Rights Act protecting consumers. Clearly from this experience, stolen goods are not covered in the compulsory Vinted Buyer Protection Fee which is on top of the postage fee. My personal opinion from this experience with Vinted customer services, I think Vinted have become so big now that quite simply they don’t particularly care about such customer losses. Won’t be using Vinted again!

I sold a bag, posted it and the customer is too lazy to say she’s recieved it, I’ve checked with the Post office and it has her signature, date and time, this was a month ago! Vinted are refusing to pay me, they keep saying I have to wait! I have messaged the buyer about 6 times, I’ve said I can see you have the bag, please return it if it’s not to your liking or let me know if it hasn’t turned up but, bear in mind I know you have the bag as I have your signature! Rude person!!

I advise everyone against Vinted when it comes to buyer protection! They do everything they can to disadvantage you as a buyer. If someone sends a broken product that was not advertised as such in advance. You're just unlucky. Either you return it at your own expense or you keep it, both options will cost you money. Let alone the time and money you spend raising the issue. In the meantime, you pay for buyer protection that Vinted fills his pockets with without protecting you. The time they give you to address it is also scandalous. 99.9% of all messages from Vinted are standard and written by bots, supposedly looking for evidence, but it soon becomes clear from the various situations that this may not be the case at all. Vinted thinks we write unlawful terms for our platform and are then covered. Think again! Illegal conditions are illegal and will not stand up in court!

I just bought a bag off Vinted! It was advertised as a Salvatore Ferragamo bag, The bag arrived feeling like plastic with the words Fermimiamo inscribed on the logo in the exact spot where Ferragamo is placed on the original bag. I complained to the seller who cursed and threatened me. Then I contacted Vinted who after 2 days responded to say they have investigated and the bag is not counterfeit! Just to let you know that Vinted supports the sale of counterfeit items on its platform. Don’t lose your money. Do your due diligence before you pay for any item. The platform is full of made in china dupes! A shame.

Worst customer service ever encountered. I tried to contact them but only got nonsense robot answers. Impossible to get a human to actually read what you write to them. Don’t buy or sell through Vinted. It’s scam.
