“I’m absolutely shocked by what happened. My wife sold a parcel on Vinted to a buyer, who received the item in perfect condition. However, the buyer took pictures of a completely different, damaged product of the same type and claimed that’s what she received. Despite my wife providing evidence and having over 20 five-star reviews across her accounts, Vinted sided with the buyer. They claimed the item is “forbidden” and ruled that my wife won’t get her money or the item back. The buyer had zero followers, no reputation, and still managed to walk away with £250 worth of free hair extensions by exploiting the system. This is absolutely unacceptable. It feels like sellers on Vinted have zero protection, no matter how trustworthy or experienced they are. If you’re considering selling on Vinted, don’t. They do not care about sellers, and this experience has been nothing short of disgusting.”

“Horrible experience as a seller. My order was not pick up by the buyer and then the package was sent back but was lost. Horrible client service that asked me for a document to be signed to initiate a claim and the same claim was rejected without any further information. There are many compensations for the buyer but none for the sellers. This is unacceptable. Don't sell with Vinted. Horrible experience”

“Sent a biscuit barrell wrapped in thick bubble wrap surrounded by tisdue paper in a secure box by vinted carrier. The buyer is saying it arrived smashed. Really? They have refunded the buyer but sais its my fault that it was not wrapped properly and will not give me any money which i need. Awful service. Wont even let me complain to cartier. Dont use these scammers. Had problems with this buyer from start.”

“I will never buy anything again on this scam platform! I bought shoes but didnt get the shoes i ordered. I made a video while opening the package and you can clearly see on the photos and videos that these are not the shoes i ordered.. vinted lets me wait more than a month to tell me now they released the money to the seller bevause they think that i am a scammer.. i lost now my money and got blocked from the app! this customer support is very retarded and does nothing in the favour of the buyer, and the buyer has to pay BuYeR pRoTeCtIoN (this buyer protection doesent exist, it is also a scam from vinted to get more money) Never buy anything on this scam platform, and if i could give zero stars i would because i think nobody at this customer support has a brain cell left ..”

“I guess they have not qualified personnel in their support service, although your payment always includes „buyer protection” fee. I had an issue with the purchase, sent the request message to the support and then got the first message requesting the proof of the damaged goods during 48 hours, and in a minute I got another one saying that the request is completed and I didn’t upload the proof during 48 hours 🤯 But I got these messages literally one by one at one day! After that the support guy was just ignoring me… I don’t recommend Vinted support service and don’t understand their „buyer protection„ fee.”

“They're absolute thieves and why ANYONE is still using them is beyond me. I made an order, which I have still not even had proof that it was even sent by the dodgy seller. I was told iy had been delivered but it wasn't delivered to my address as it wasn't there, and my ring device didn't go off. I contacted "support" and was sent a form. It was sent as a PDF which lots of phones don't allow you to fill in forms with. I asked for help and said I couldn't fill in as its a PDF. They didn't bother to help and released the money to the rude, horrible seller. Inwas in hospital during all this so couldn't get home to print it off and do it. But they haven't even issued me any evidence it was delivered and where to. Ive since tried to get somewhere, but get nowhere. They're an abhorrent company. They are uncaring, unpassionate and unsupportive. They're refusing to give me any evidence of where it was delivered and refusing me a refund. I think anyone who uses Vinted needs their head examined.”

“Just wanted to reach out about the horrendous customer service I’ve received! I purchased a coat vile condition smelt of smoke food stains fit for the bin! I returned the item at my own cost and the seller never collected! This has been on going for almost a month and vinted are now wanting to return the seller leaving me almost £30 out of pocket!!!”

“I have had a buyer buy a designer bundle of clothes but received it "open". Vinted have refunded them, let them keep them and I can't claim anything so the reseller now has £100's clothes to sell and I have nothing. I have tried and tried to get compensation but they still say no. How is this right? 😡”

“I had a dispute with a buyer who scammed me and Vinted will do nothing to take the buyer to task. Clearly this attitude demonstrates Vinted are happy to have SCAMMERS operate on their platform. All there rubbish about keeping it's community safe is a load of rubbish. From my experience of their customer services they are morally bankrupt, will stonewall any criticism of their safety procedures and will not even discuss that scamming is even possibly taking place on their platform. I've tried to resolve my complaint from the CEO, a mediation company working in partnership with them and customer service. All I've experienced is a culture of corporate dishonesty and stonewalling. I've asked the CEO to challenge me but have the usual stonewalling.”

“As a buyer expect a very poor shopping experience. Cancelled orders,stuff arriving not as described and Vinted not refunding money to buyers when stuff isn't posted out after you have paid. AVOID”

“If I can give them 0 stars I will definitely do. When I posted my items to sell them I got a notification that it was deleted because the pictures are not mine so what I did is I submitted an appeal and in the appeal. I said that I will take a picture of the items with the same background and also I will do a thumbs up besides them. And I did that then they refused it again and said because the pictures exist in different websites. This is stupidity at its finest. I contacted them again and told them I can take another picture of them and write down a paper with some information then they said the same thing and threatened me that I should not take this violation again. This is the worst customer service ever their names are Dima and Tomas. They have to fire this stupid customer service team immediately. Please give them a one star review I checked also the other reviews they scam people. Please be careful”

“I was stolen at vinted!! I sold a Stela Mccartney Falabela bag valued at 350 euros with a Vinted verification service included. When the buyer received the suitcase, he claimed that the color in the photographs did not correspond to the real one. Not agreeing with this, because differences in color due to luminosity and not liking the color of the item do not constitute differences in the description of the ad, I asked for the intervention of Vinted support where I attached a print with the description of the ad where it could be seen that the The color was described and corresponded to the color of the bag, it was khaki green and not gray as the seller said it seemed to be. The case was under review at Vinted for 48 hours to make a decision. After two days, the sale was manually canceled by Vinted, the buyer kept the money and the suitcase!!! I didn't receive any notification of anything, it was just like that, it only appears in the buyer's chat ORDER CANCELED!!! I WAS SCAMMED!!!!”

“1 star is too generous! This platform is a scam that doesn’t protect the seller and the customer service is appalling. EVRI damaged a parcel that I sent but Vinted refuse to resolve it. They’ve refunded the buyer AND let them keep my goods so I now have no goods and no money. Vinted refuse to take this up with Evri or give me my money. Avoid!! Use EBay instead.”

“This app is a platform for scammers. Just check on google and you will find thousands of sellers and buyers scammed everyday. People noticed that there is no protection for sellers so basically they use it for defrauds: you sell something, buyer send picture of something else and says he received a different (less valuable of course item): he's refunded and the seller lost both the money and the item. It's so easy as a defraud scheme that they are doing it frequently. Don't use it”

“This app is an absolute scam. they do not resolve any complains not even when they lose objects and things they are supposed to deliver. Due to a lack of legal definition they do not fall under umbrella companies for which you can get mediation and the amount of money you lose might be significant to you but not even a fraction of a penny compared to big companies. this is not the first time I have experienced issues with vinted. they allow buyers to bully you on the platform, pretend they haven’t received the item and you don’t get paid, they lose packages and you don’t get paid etc. if you’re reading this do yourself a favour and delete the app.”

“Disappointing experience with Vinted’s support system. I sold an item with sentimental value, but the buyer claimed it was damaged. Despite my good track record as a seller (5-star reviews), Vinted sided with the buyer without showing me any proof of the damage or ensuring the item was returned to me. The buyer blocked me and refused to communicate, leaving me feeling scammed. While it’s possible the item was damaged during shipping, I never got the chance to see any evidence. Vinted’s support team was unhelpful and closed the case without addressing my concerns. Sellers deserve better protection and transparency on this platform.”

“Awful experience as a seller. Vinted cancelled my order while I sent my package on time, the support team is saying "don't worry we will help you get paid" and after 1 month of fighting they are now telling me that they can't help me anymore and that I will not get paid even though the package is marked as delivered on mondial relay. This is just UNACCEPTABLE. I will never use vinted again, to buy or sell and I will relate this story to a maximum of persons around me so people stop using vinted.”
