I have been loyal customer for over 3 years, and have bought and sold several items. Recently in February I decided to take a leap of faith and purchased an item for £194.49 pounds. The parcel was lost or misplaced by the courier so I disputed the transaction immediately. After waiting for 2 months, I sought help from my bank and raised a dispute, which any normal person would do after waiting for 2 months for a refund of a lost parcel. My refund was finally initiated, and then blocked or failed because of the dispute from my bank. I reached out to customer support and they asked me to cancel the dispute, which I requested my bank to do immediately. I also sent proof to Vinted, along with a letter from my bank stating the dispute was cancelled. The dispute was cancelled on 9th April. It is now 13th June, and I still don’t have my refund. The customer service team is rather incompetent and keeps sending me messages that a bot would regarding my issue. They also keep closing my ongoing conversations abruptly. I have been waiting close to 4 months now for my refund of a lost parcel, which Vinted too has deemed as lost. There is no accountability or morals they have, and you too will likely never receive a refund, because they do not care. The legal team too will not try to resolve your case. I can never trust Vinted again, and everyone should be made aware, solely due to the amount of stress and anxiety I have been put through, and wouldn’t want anyone to go through. I lost almost £200 pounds of hard earned money.
