De verzending via Vinted en de klantenservice is een ramp. Meerdere keren meegemaakt dat pakketten heel lang kwijt zijn en dan na meerdere weken op een totaal verkeerd pakketpunt meerdere kilometers bij me vandaan geleverd worden. En de klantenservice doet er niets aan. Echt vreselijk, ik koop nooit meer iets via hen.

Bought a counterfeit item (which was listed as authentic). I flagged this to Vinted and after I sent them photo proof showing that it is clearly a fake, they still insisted I pay for shipping to return it to the seller. The Ts&Cs clearly state the buyer should not be responsible for shipping if fake items are bought. I then requested them to do an official item verification and they said it is not possible?! Which is very strange as this item had available item verification when I bought it. Vinted KNOWS it is FAKE, but they are still letting the vulnerable buyer be financially impacted instead of having the seller, who sells fake items pay for the return shipment. Super disappointed

A joke...been using this app for over a year now and never had a problem until now...they sent me 2 labels that won't scan or process on the parcel machines. No customer service no to call and an automated message service that doesn't reply and solve your issue. Pathetic I will not be using ever again...the app will deleted

Total lack of support from Vinted when purchased from seller, after investigation which took 6 weeks Vinted finds in favour to the seller despite, despite seller telling lies. Vinted even removed my negative feedback to the seller. Ok if your selling, I will never use Vinted again.

Vinted’s refund system is completely unfair to sellers. A buyer falsely claimed my item was damaged, and I issued a full refund as it was the right thing to do, assuming they’d have to return it. Vinted later told me that because I manually refunded, I now have no way to get my item back. This means the buyer got both their money and my item for free—how is that fair? Vinted failed to warn me about this, and their support was completely unhelpful and dismissive. Sellers, be warned: their policy allows buyers to exploit you with zero consequences.

I really had high hopes for Vinted. It seemed such a great platform to buy preloved clothes. However when things go wrong I just feel like Vinted pass the buck. I've brought an item not as described and Vinted sided with the buyer with no comeback from me whatsoever to challenge the decision. Then I've had trainers delivered with them missing. Vinted took two months to come back to me and handed the money back straight to the buyer without an investigation. I wouldn't recommend selling anything of value and only buy if you are super confident you are getting what you have paid for. Its a real shame that the company washes its hands and is not supportive. This would not happen on Ebay or Etsy.

If the seller sent you wrong items e.g. completely wrong size, you still need to pay for the return shipping fee, its ridiculous

We agreed on £250 which I then sent double boxed bubble wrapped and sealed in plastic only for the "buyer" to say packaging was damaged.. I have sent in excess of 20 emails to try and get Vinted to resolve with no success, its also been 7 weeks since I sent the item!

They are letting scammers sell counterfeit goods.I bought some aftershave as soon as I received it I knew it was fake I contacted Vinted asap but they still released my money and said there was nothing they could do .appalling service.

If a zero-star rating were possible, I would give it. I recently listed a pair of Apple AirPods (1st generation) for sale, providing all necessary details to verify their authenticity. Despite this, Vinted requested additional proof. I complied by submitting a clear image of the serial number, along with a screenshot from Apple’s official verification site confirming authenticity and the date of purchase. However, my listing was removed without a proper review. Meanwhile, numerous other listings remain active—many showing only a single image or none of the airpods at all—without the same level of scrutiny. The response from Vinted was a generic email stating that proof was required, despite the fact that I had already provided it. When I escalated the matter to their legal department, I received the same automated reply, again without any real review of my case. This is an unfair and inconsistent practice that prioritizes certain users while disregarding others. It is not the first time I have encountered this issue—previously, the same happened with a fur jacket. I provided multiple examples of identical listings that remained active, yet mine was taken down without justification. Vinted’s lack of fair and transparent enforcement undermines trust in the platform and negatively impacts honest sellers.

I used Vinted for a long time now. At first it was a brilliant app. Now it’s just become a money making machine and I feel the company is only trying to get its fix from both buyers and sellers. I bought pairs of jeans on the platform that I returned and never got my money back. I tried contacting customer support for months and they didn’t respond to me until I sent help queries repeatedly. In the end, they didn’t reimburse me claiming the refund had been made even though I showed them my bank statements proving the contrary! Worse part is we pay a “buyer protection fee” which in the end is just a way to charge you more for a service you’ll never get. I’d stay away if I were you.

Sellers are totally unprotected. If a package is damaged in transit it’s easy to blame the seller since it’s hard to prove otherwise. They will refund the buyer but the seller will not receive money or the item back - even if the damage was a scratch! After 4 years I am taking my items elsewhere

I ordered an item 2 months ago and alerted Vinted after 1 week that I hadn't received it. Communication was poor and I had to dispute the transaction with the bank who, to their credit, looked into the issue thoroughly. They sent me a papertrail clearly showing my order being delivered to completely the wrong address, including a photo of a stranger signing for it. It's a clear case of the courier making a mistake. Vinted refuse to refund me or to follow up with the courier (Yodel). So, if you're ordering from Vinted, bear in mind you may not receive your order or a refund.

I’ve been selling on Vinted for a while now, and I must say that the overall treatment of sellers leaves much to be desired. When issues arise—whether it’s disputes over damage, refunds, or other problems—the support I received was extremely lacking. Instead of getting clear, helpful guidance, I felt completely dismissed. There were no meaningful solutions offered, and it seemed as though the process was deliberately cumbersome, leaving sellers to fend for themselves. It’s incredibly disheartening to invest time and effort into selling on a platform only to encounter this level of indifference when complications occur. I hope Vinted seriously reconsiders how they support sellers, as it currently feels like our concerns are not taken seriously at all.

Vinted's support is totally useless. It's seems like AI both sending repetitive messages that aren't even related to the problem you're asking for. There is nothing that protects sellers or buyers when things get wrong. They provided zero help when someone hacked to my app and I was scammed, also zero help when my packages got delayed. Why can't you just hire real people who actually need jobs to do the support instead of this so called "service"? I'm a seller on Vinted for years and this is infuriating every time I encounter some problems..

One star is actually a favour to them, seller sold an item which wasn’t as described and I wanted a return but they (seller and vinted) want me to pay for shipping costs for a mistake the seller made, while they go and don’t take any responsibility even after admitting that they are in the wrong, I don’t recommend buying high priced goods there . They’re policy doesn’t favour buyers by doing this because now I’m the one suffering for something the seller did

Avoid Vinted at all costs. I was scammed out of a pair of Dior trainers I sold for £130.00. Police are involved as Vinted did absolutely nothing to help and released the money to the buyer even though my parcel weighed 2kg and the parcel she apparently received weighed 410g

As a seller on Vinted, I've encountered numerous issues, including items I’ve posted going missing and purchases that never arrived. Despite my status as a “star seller,” the customer service has been frustratingly unhelpful, sticking rigidly to policies that offer no real assistance. If Vinted wants to retain its sellers, they need to seriously rethink their customer service approach. A more responsive and supportive team would make a significant difference for those of us trying to use the platform effectively.
