I purchased a second hand tracksuit for my daughter. I paid £2.30 for buyer protection. I received an email whilst I was on holiday asking if I had received the order. I did not click ‘I have an issue’ as I was not sure if the parcel had been delivered.
The seller knew it had been lost and had been notified by InPost. I contacted Vinted when I returned home, just outside of the 48 hour window. The seller has confirmed in messages that the item has been lost and I provided this evidence. Vinted will not refund. Shocking. Do not use. I will be deleting my account and reverting to eBay which I have used for years and affords much better buyer protection. I have lost £30.29 and Vinted couldn’t care less.
