We went in store on Saturday 20/07 to make a purchase. We were served by a lad who was talking throughout our transaction on his headset. We had to 'interrupt' him to ask questions about prices and his attitude made us feel like we had interrupted him. He continued to speak and each time we needed to ask, we were met with him offering an apology to whoever he was talking to on his headset.
The only time he spoke to us was to ask if we had a trade card. I asked him a question re the trade card and he was so busy engaged in conversation that he simply repeated the question rather than answering my query.
I told him that I was not impressed with his attitude and the rudeness of having a conversation whilst serving. He did not apologise or say anything. When we paid for our items (nearly £50), he handed us our receipt with no thank you or goodbye.
We will seriously reconsider using Wickes in Bognor Regis again if that's the attitude of the sales team.
