We have had nothing but problems with Wickes. Firstly they had to refund us £500 because they tried to bill us over the agreed amount, then we had to get additional floor tiles because they had the floor and wall measurements round the wrong way. Now, our shower is lifting our floor tiles and leaking into our living room and first floor because they didn't waterproof our shower. Then to make matters worse, they are now hiding behind warranty. Fraud and deceptive practices are not covered by warranty in the contract. Neither is negligence. To add to this... They are hiding behind their warranty. How can they claim that the sealant is out of warranty when the sealant was clearly never installed in the shower in the first place? As per the testimony of a third party contractor that we got in to inspect their work.
