The work carried out by Wise on my property at a cost of £30K, showed no duty of care. The initial surveyor, whom I believe not longer works for the company, was unsatisfactory and a second surveyor had to be sent out. The organisation of the job showed a disregard for best practice and common sense. The operatives doing the rot work did not communicate with me during the work which led to unresolved problems. Wise's initial response to my dissatisfaction was to advise me to contact Dispute Resolution Ombudsman, which in fact, they were not a member of. They then directed all my communications to their own internal complaints department. The points made in my many emails were not addressed satisfactorily at any time by Wise staff. My experience with Wise has been shocking. Treating dry rot is expensive. This is to be expected. What was not expected was the level of total disregard, at all levels, for Wise's responsibility to the paying customer
