Good quality tools: carpenter's brace and star-M auger bits. The brace was a bit factory fresh, so needed a spot of grease on the chuck threads, but it will wear in with use. The ratchet adjusting collar is more agricultural than you'll find on an old Stanley, but it works fine, and I am already looking to replace the plastic handles with wood, just a personal preference. In all important respects it is a great tool and, for my purposes, better than the alternatives available. The bits are lovely, with the clean and controlled cut I was hoping for.
