I ordered car parts from the buyparts.co.uk website on 26/04/2020 and 28/04/2020 (list products bought online) My original order was: 2x J3303044 Nipparts Brake Discs-received JQ1012910 Brake Pad Set, disc brake- received incorrect and incomplete STARK set FA-397S Air Filter – received W 67/1 Oil Filter-received 151528 Engine Oil -received 2x J4913003 Track Control Arm- received one incorrect STARK track control arm and one correct Nipparts track control arm 2x Blue print ADM58078 Stabiliser Mounting 2x Blue print ADM58033 Stabiliser Mounting 2x Blue print ADM58719 Tie Rod End-received incorrect STARK tie rod end 2x Nipparts J4963005 Rod / Strut Stabiliser – received incorrect STARK Rod/Strut stabiliser 2x Nipparts J4893006 Rod/Strut Stabiliser - received I was under the impression that this was UK based but found out it is in Germany and that my order was being sent from Germany not as I expected. I received an email confirmation that my parcel could not be delivered (on 07/05/2020) due to address information so I had to contact the parcel centre to organise my own delivery. When I received my order, I was disappointed. Firstly, with a clear fragile sign on the box you would think care would be taken with the parcel, but it arrived damaged and partially opened. Upon checking through the box, I noticed half of my order was incorrect and I had been sent cheaper alternatives than I paid for against my will. This is misleading and deliberately cheating customers. I emailed the company straight away and explained what happened and that I wanted to receive my order and the items I had paid for not cheaper alternatives. This was without notification and secondly my original desired items were in stock as shown on buycarparts.co.uk so they had no reason to send different brands and alternatives. Item replaced with an alternative could be a mistake but more than does not seem right or honest. They had stolen this from me. The delay in replying caused more frustration as I needed the correct items, I had ordered to fit to my car for eg break pads which are an important part of the function of a car and needed to be changed soon! I would have had these in good time if there was good communication. Finally, 21/05/2020 I received an email to from buycarparts.co.uk stating I should list the items I claimed were not the ones I ordered and what I wanted to return. I replied with all the information. They replied and disregarded most of what I had told them (the list of items missing, not received and the alternatives they sent that I did not and could not use).To make matters worse, my break pads in my car came out whilst I was driving and witnessed by a driver I almost hit. Luckily, I was not driving more than 30 mph or could have been a different matter. If I had received the parts I ordered without delaying, this could have been avoided . During my communication or lack there of, I had been transferred to different departments twice causing more delay and going round in circles. On the 25/05/20 I received an email from buycarparts.co.uk , to offer me a return label to send back the parts I did not order to receive a refund. The compensation they offer 2% discount on my next order , which does not cover this whole inconvenience and stress caused by their negligence.I have lost faith in my order being resolved due to the delays. I am also a key worker and during this time the most I need my car especially to go to work to look after vulnerable people during this difficult times. I was forced to use the cheaper low quality parts and products which again I did not agree about. This is why I already opened a complaint at ECC and PayPal Shame can not choose no stars!
