My husband bought a couple of cards online in December/early Jan and has today been charged £15 for a rewards scheme he never signed up to. Called Funky Pigeon who say it is a third party company they have given access to his personal data and bank account details! In order to stop the standing order he has to go to the trouble of cancelling his bank card and wait for a new one in the post. Who knows if he will get the £15 back as we can’t get through to the rewards company. Blatant fraud, we will both be cancelling our accounts with Funky Pigeon and I’m sure a lot of others will too after this breach of data and trust.
Even your customer service rep said she had received many of the same complaints, is £15 really worth losing your customers?!
