I will never order from GrubHub again. 24 hours in advance I put in a pick up order to deliver to my elderly moms assisted living facility, where she was entertaining to guests the next day. I put in the payment instructions and got confirmation that the order was entered. The website said the following day I would get a notice when the order was ready to go out an hour before delivery. Well the next day I got no notice so I called the restaurant the restaurant said they had received no order from GrubHub. I emailed GrubHub and they simply said my transaction had been canceled. Without even the courtesy of an email or a text message and here I was panicking to get another lunch delivered, which took another hour.
Talk to two different people at GrubHub neither of which had any power to solve the problem or get a new order put through, they’re only reply was somebody would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. And when I finally did get a reply two days later it’s simply said sorry he was a 10% discount on your next order. What a poorly run on accountable delivery service!
