Tried GrubHub for the first time because I have Grub Hub Plus because of Amazon. I couldn’t get a driver to accept my order after an hour until i added more tip. I’ve ordered from doordash and never had this problem. It’s not worth it.

I ordered food with a gift card at 12:41 PM. At 2:12 PM it was still not delivered. I then received an email saying the order was canceled. I will never use Grub Hub again.

I just watched my driver pick my food up from a restaurant just 1 mile away and proceed to drive to the next town over before coming back to deliver my food. Ended up being almost an hour late and cold by the time it arrived. Why would you pick my food up just to leave it in the back of your car and drive over 10 miles away before bring it back? Anyways, I didn't eat the food and am never ordering with them again. I've had more than a few bad experiences ordering through grubhub but this was the last straw.

Consistently GrubHub has been a BIG disappointment. A few times I have accidentally ordered and forgot to update the delivery address. I usually catch it 30 seconds after placing the order, but they never let me cancel it, so they will update the address but the not the restaurant location. SO you are stuck paying for cold food. When I complained that all my food was cold, soggy and sodas were watered down, they offered a $5 refund!!!! After I had asked them to cancel the order anyway. Plus drivers will take your order, but then have 8 deliveries before yours and then you have to wait a long time for food when another available driver could have picked up the order instead! No control over drivers there! HATE GRUBHUB!

Grubhub drivers are allowed to steal food with no consequences. I’m injured so it takes me sometime to get up and get my phone and meet drivers at the door. A driver named Maria not only threatened to steal my food via text but she did reported the food delivered. I contacted Grubhub about my concerns got a refund and I was told them I don’t want to be matched with her. I matched with her multiple times afterwards with the same behaviors with more hostile messages toward me. I had pictures and evidence, they did nothing but transfer me to different departments for hours. I gave up and deleted my account. I just switched to Uber Eats, less of a hassle and if drivers steal your food or are being hostile you don’t have to match with them again.

Food delivery was an hour and a half late and it was cold. Denied my appeal for a refund saying the same account had too many requests already. (haven’t had any.)

I ordered an edible arrangement today from edibles in El Paso TX, Angie from Edibles used GrubHub to deliver this arrangement, however the arrangement had to be delivered to a hospital, the hospital’s name was listed, the recepient’s name and hospital room number was listed on the address. The person who delivered this left in the EMERGENCY area!!! Why,this is just laziness! I hope this person gets fired. I hope Edibles stop using GrubHub!

I guess I have only the option of providing a 1-star minimum…. Ummm…… the experience is a complete waste of time! Waiting 2-hours with concurrent delays, then my order was cancelled. How embarrassing for a company who claims to provide a SERVICE OMG!! Embarrassed for you because I’ll tell 20x more people of my very negative experience verses the 3 I might have told had it been a good experience…… seal the grave. Stop wasting time and your reputation by pulling out of markets you suck at!

This is not the first time we've had a horrible service by GrubHub. Our newest event was and order today, delivered to a totally unknown house that had no address or order, When we called to complain we never got the order. We called the company where we ordered, but no one has contacted us yet. We lost our money and have no food either!!! Sad!!!

I was automatically signed up for a monthly membership, with no email confirmation, and no monthly receipt for it. I only found out because of my bank statement 7 months later. They would not refund me past 30 days, even after speaking to the supervisor Eli, the highest point of contact in customer service. I’m left feeling robbed. Don’t use GrubHub! They don’t care about quality, they care about the quantity of money!

They have literally one job, delivering food. They cannot seem to accomplish this one job without messing up in at least one way, if not multiple ways...

I ordered two dishes. Chili rellenos and fish tacos. The chili rellenos dish spilled throughout the plastic bag covering everything; sauces, utensils and tacos. I ordered 6 tacos and received only 3. I watched the car go south before heading to me in the north. This order was put in at 8:15am. I will never use Grub Hub or Zappata's again.

Food showed up late, ice cold, and in a torn bag exposed to the elements. When I contacted customer service they offered me a credit and said that was the best they could do. Never use this service.

Grubhub’s delivery system feels less like a service and more like a gamble—and lately, it’s one customers keep losing. Orders get picked up promptly enough, which gives you false hope. Then the clock starts ticking… and ticking… and ticking. Somehow, what should be a short trip turns into a 40-minute detour. You’re left staring at a map, watching your driver wander around like they’re on a sightseeing tour instead of delivering food that’s getting colder by the minute. And when it finally arrives? Forget “fresh.” Your meal is lukewarm at best, stone cold at worst. Fries are limp, entrees are soggy, and anything that was supposed to be hot is a disappointment. Even worse, if you dared to order something like a milkshake, you’re basically paying for flavored milk by the time it shows up—completely melted and separated. The most frustrating part is that this isn’t a one-off issue—it’s a pattern. Drivers appear to be stacking orders or taking inefficient routes, and there’s little to no accountability. Meanwhile, Grubhub does nothing meaningful to fix it. Refunds or credits, if you can even get them, feel like a band-aid on a much bigger problem. At the end of the day, what’s the point of paying delivery fees, service fees, and tips if the core service—timely delivery of edible food—can’t be relied on? Grubhub needs to take a hard look at its logistics and driver management, because right now, it’s failing the very people keeping it in business.

Can't ever get it right and think a credit somehow fixes everything. I don't want a credit I want my food. If a credit is your answer I want double my money back. I will NEVER use this service again.
