I will be using other delivery services moving forward. I requested my order to be delivered at 11:30am. It is now 11:30am and the tracking says it is still being prepared. I tried to cancel the order but because it was being prepared, Grubhub will not allow me to cancel the order. I have never had this issue when using DoorDash and now I regret placing my order with Grubhub. Never again.

I had the wrong address for my delivery....totally my fault! Chatted with customer service, very quick to help cancel my order and give a credit. Reordered with the correct address and then it took over an hour for the food to get here nice and cold! Won't be using them anymore.

My recent experience with Grubhub was very disappointing. My order was supposed to arrive in about an hour but ended up taking almost two hours with no apology. When the food finally arrived, I noticed the price on the restaurant receipt was lower than what I was charged in the app. I was overcharged by about $16. Customer service initially denied the issue, and after sending proof multiple times, they only offered a $5 credit. The representative was unhelpful and ended the conversation without properly resolving the problem. It’s not just about the money—it’s about being charged incorrectly and poor customer service. Be careful and always check your receipts.

This really isn’t about the company, more so the specific driver Rosa in the Thornton, CO area. I downloaded grubhub because I’m house sitting in the area for only a couple days and don’t have any groceries, and I’ve ordered twice so far- last night and about an hour ago. Both times Rosa has been my delivery driver, last night the food arrived late which wasn’t a big deal but it was missing several items (which to Grubhubs credit it was very easy to get a refund for so I appreciate that). Today I ordered and the order was marked as delivered, well the photo was of a random fence and there’s no fence even on this street that looks similar, there’s also, not shockingly, no food in the photo it is just of the sidewalk and the fence. Again the process of reordering was very easy with grubhub and I wasn’t charged to reorder which was very nice, but I’ve done delivery myself before, and this just isn’t acceptable especially since it’s been a pattern with this driver. I tipped 30% bc like I said I’ve been in the game before so I try to contribute where I can and I think ms Rosa got to keep that tip, and I’m worried since grubhub covered the reorder my new driver won’t get any tip. My only issues with grubhub itself is first the fact that there was no option to review the driver, the rate and review button wasn’t linked to anything it didn’t work. If it had I wouldn’t be on here, but this needs to come to somebody’s attention and also probably gonna delete the app bro 2 for 2 is enough for me. Second, the help chat makes it seem like your being transferred from the AI to a customer service rep, but that rep is also AI. Not really a problem because I got my issue resolved but just not a great sign when it takes so much work to actually get through to a human.

I had an order that had an estimated delivery time of 7:41pm. That order time jumped several times until at 8:25 the delivery was just canceled. Stated delivery issues. Iasked for express reorder at that time. Estimated delivery time 9:07pm. I complained when the original order was canceled and the refunded me and gave me $5 grubhub money. With the reorder the estimated delivery moved to 9:57pm. The restaurant is closed by that time. I complain again. I get a refund and grubhub $10. In the mean time i don't get a meal. They have a guarantee if your delivery is late but they grip changing the delivery time. This was my first time using their service and probably my last

Gosh, I keep giving them chances and this last one took the cake. They even threatened to block my account over their drivers not delivering my food?! How many blurry photos do they need before they hold their drivers accountable? Blaming customers for their bad service is nonsense! Last week I ordered, its said it was on its way, then once it claimed to be delivered it was suddenly shifted to a pick up order. So in less than two weeks they failed me twice then had an automated message on my refund that said it was the last one before I am blocked from ordering like what? This level of victim blame is an abuse of power. I am so tired of corps using dv tactics. Ps I live in apartment unit. A massive one. He straight took an image of a small house as he drove by to pretend he delivered it. But somehow I deserved the threat of not being allowed to order. Dude shouldn’t be allowed to claim hes delivering when hes clearly just stealing.

I was informed 50 minutes after my order was supposed to be delivered that it was cancelled!! No explanation. We were left with no dinner. I have never used Grub Hub and will NEVER use Grub Hub again. They should be out of business!!

Another order, another fail. No wonder they say they are waiving deliver fees. We ordered an 8 piece of chicken with some sides. They deliver 2 chicken sandwiches, and two of the three sides requested, but charged us for the original order. Called the restaurant, no response. Called driver no response. I think I’m going to DoorDash and Uber, because Grub Hub is obviously losing business with there horrible services and even worse customer service @ GrubHub when you call. They just say it everyone fault bet their own. Boycot

Forcing drivers to stack orders defeats the purpose. Every order has been cold, soggy and dissatisfying and it’s definitely NOT the restaurants. Confirmed tonight the driver had to take multiple orders and had to pick up and deliver according to grubhub. It took over an hour to get a smoothie and a wrap from a place fifteen min away. I should have just picked it up myself

Placed order at 12:30 pm. Site showed driver en route. Delivery times repeatedly changed. Turned out driver wasn't assigned after I contacted driver. GrubHub cancelled order at 2:12 pm. Restaurant is literally 5 minutes from me. Ridiculous!

ordered my food and was delivered to wrong place . Was reordered and took to the same place by same courier. Call customer care and hung up on me. Neighbor from another building brought me cold food and I was asked was it opened and I confirmed i don't know what happened to food. It was delivered to someone house i don't know like I was suppose to eat the food. I requested my food to be reordered and a credit was told could not reorder food. What amazes me is why give a confirmation number if courier is not going to follow Grubhub policy. I am still unsatisfied with the help I received and the delivery they never happened. So to everyone please use Uber eats. The drivers are competent and customer care really do care.

Whether it was my driver or grbhub's scheduling practices, I was third in line. By the time the food arrived (late) it had congealed into a cold sloppy mess. No amount of doctoring on my part brought it back. This is the last time I will use grubhub. I'm a little busy telling the world about grubhub's screw-you service.

I have a delivery preference for face-to-face delivery. GrubHub customer support confirmed this preference is set and saved properly. Three deliveries in a row the driver has left the food on my doorstep without even a door bell ring.

GrubHub's MO is to accept an order and provide a reasonable ETA even when there are no couriers in the area. They then repeatedly push back the ETA so either the food arrives congealed and cold hours later or the restaurant finally closes and GrubHub is forced to cancel the order. Adequate customer service would consist of 1) ideally, not accepting orders they can't fullfil in a timely manner or 2) if an order has already been accepted and cannot be filled on time, providing a full refund. Instead of providing this adequate assistance with existing orders, they hand out discount codes for future orders. This benefits GrubHub more than the customer, since using the discount code means placing yet another order with GrubHub. I am done using their service. From now on, I will be sticking with restaurants that provide their own, independent delivery service and care about retaining their customers enough to treat them courteously.

This is a free service with Prime. I stot rvice and drivers unable to follow simple instructions. Started using this app again and no surprise that it's even worse now. Customer service is based in India who regurgitate a script. The last 3 orders were delayed mulitple times on each order. Resturants begin "preparing" your order right after payment so you can't canel the order. Delivery is hours past the orginal ETA. Customer service will only give a $5.00 credit for this unacceptable service.

Bad experience with drivers drop off in wrong location. The credit they give expires based on the time they issued credits instead of the day. Very bad customer service.

Ordered via GrubHub plus. Order was cancelled. Restaurant says order was PICKED UP. DRIVER ATE THE FOOD!
