I placed an order a while back, which for some reason was set to pickup; which is strange as I only ever order delivery. I immediately contacted customer service and asked them to cancel. Several minutes of waiting for a response later and I get told they can't as the food's already been made. I ask them if they can switch the order from pickup to delivery. Another several minutes of waiting and I'm told they can't do that either. I asked them to refund me for the order as I was unable to pick it up. Another several minutes go by and they tell me the best they can do is 7 dollars off on my next meal (the order was 35 dollars). Will never use again and highly recommend EVERYONE to avoid using grubhub.

Well this is the third time my food was not delivered to my house it is too late to order again as the restaurant is closed. Their “help” is so limited that getting a response that fits the situation is not available. Then the driver calls me to tell me he delivered it to the right place. Did he ask the person for a code texted from grubhub? No then why bother texting a code

Horrible - had an order and the driver was waiting at the restaurant for the food. The next thing I knew another driver was heading to the store and was quite far away. My food arrived an hour later than originally scheduled and was ice cold and obviously had been sitting out for some time. I complained to customer service and was waiting for some time and they said sorry no refund. I told them they could clearly look at history and see what happened. They don’t care. Will definitely stick to uber eats and door dash from now on. I’ve used them before and this restaurant many times it was definitely a driver issue. Terrible service.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was missing items from my delivery. I called the restaurant. They pushed that they packed everything and stated I needed to call grub hub for a refund. I used chat where they refused to refund me. I emailed immediately after. After emailing back and forth several times, I received an email back stating they couldn’t refund me because at the time of their latest reply it had been greater than 48 hrs since delivery ETA. They emailed me this reply an hour and a half after the cut off. Still did not refund me even though I told them I contacted them immediately after I received my order and had been receiving and sending messages to and from grub hub since then. Literally insane. Do not trust this company. Customer service is probably the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Constant delays. Once you get ahold of customer support and go through that process, you get refunded as credit. Not refunded to your payment. So you are stuck using their terrible service again. Then you try to make an order so you can use the credit, the orders won't go through. So now you have credit that can't be used. Never ever will I use this service again unless it's is for the credit.

We ordered over $80 worth of food from a local restaurant. The driver delivered one small meal and a dessert, which was obviously wrong. The driver shrugged his shoulders, said "that's what the restaurant gave me". We later received a text from the woman who received our order. We ended up having to drive to her house to switch orders. The whole reason we got delivery is so we didn't have to run out for food. She told us that when she contacted the GrubHub driver, his response was "I delivered the food. I'm done". We contacted GrubHub who never even gave us the courtesy of a response.

I decided to give GrubHub one more chance after very disappointing deliveries. This time it took over an hour to receive food from a restaurant 1/2 mile away. Naturally the food was cold again. It appears they don't have necessary drivers to complete orders. I will be using door dash from now on.

Driver didn’t deliver food properly. By the picture that was sent to us, the food was left outside and on the floor! And trying to contact customer service to get refunded was unpleasant.

Two orders in a row went completely wrong. 1st order was a total no show. The app even said the driver had picked up my order. After 2 hours the order was never delivered. 2nd order I was super sick and forced me to drive to the store myself. It had my name on the receipt but not anything close to what I ordered. The missing order was not the first time it has happened. The system is full of flaws and no consistency. I cannot trust that my order will be right or it will even get to the location intended. Great concept with poor results. GrubHub did fully refund my money but in the end totally not worth the headache especially when you’re paying for convenience and to be inconvenienced multiple times.

This is so bad my order arrived two hours late, the food is freezing cold, I would have just made some food at home, but the purpose of food delivery is getting yoir food fast, we are paying for the service for God'ssake. This was my first time ordering thru this app and it is gonna be my last.

Absolutely unacceptable delivery experience. I ordered a pizza from Papa John’s through Grubhub. When it arrived, it was completely disheveled—clearly mishandled during delivery. I reached out to the store, sent them a photo, and they were incredibly professional and apologetic. Papa John’s immediately sent out a replacement pizza, which I really appreciated. Here’s where it went from bad to downright disrespectful. The second Grubhub driver didn’t knock, didn’t ring the doorbell, didn’t text—nothing. They just left the pizza at my front door like it was a package, without making any effort to let me know it had arrived. If I hadn’t checked my door myself, it could’ve sat there who knows how long. This is the kind of service that makes me say never again. I will absolutely not be using Grubhub in the future, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Delivery isn’t just about dropping food off—it’s about respect, communication, and customer care. Grubhub failed on all fronts.

Order basically arrived on time but only because I was waiting looking out the window. Normally I will get a text saying the driver is on his way, and I did this time. Then when the driver is near by I'll get a text the driver will arrive soon but I got that while the driver was still at McDonalds so I waited a long time looking out my front door but lucky I did. He was trying to drop off my order at my neighbors across the street two houses down. I asked him if he was GrubHub driver and he said yes and I told him that order was for me. He claimed the address was at my neighbors house but I double checked and it had my address on there, the correct address, the driver was at the wrong address and had I not been looking out my front door I would have never received my order. Also once he finally brought me my order and I sat down to eat it was missing 2 of the Sausage Egg McMuffins, the main part of the meal missing. What a complete disaster and waste of time and money. GrubHub has a help menu and I contacted them to report the missing items and they gave a credit so no complaints with GrubHub, only with their driver.

Awful experience. Ordered through Grubhub for delivery. Missing several items on the order. The driver did not speak English and did not understand what was wrong with the order. Grubhub did not respond at all to my contact and Taco Bell refused to make it right by sending my items. Bad experience all the way around. If I could give less than 1 star I would

They didn't change the store location after i changed location to be delivered. Immediately when I realized i canceled the order and they refused. The store keeps pushing back the order delivery for over an hour in a half. I want my money and to cancel. I can't even get ahold of a representative

I ordered from grubhub and they were over an hour late. I requested a refund and they refused; they are trying to force me to use it as a credit. I told them I don't want a credit because I will not order from them again. I had to file a complaint through BBB

Deliveries are always "delayed" by about an hour, orders are often wrong, takes forever to get refunded after cancellation of orders. They are far worse than DoorDash as of late.

I placed an order through Grubhub to the Crockpot 2 but the restaurant immediately called me and said they didn’t have the beef ribs and that my order has been canceled. A few minutes later I received a text from Grubhub that my order was ready I called the restaurant and they said it was canceled. Nevertheless, I waited for my funds to be reversed but Grubhub said, you only have 48 hours to claim your stolen funds

52% markup. Never again. And now the battle over my tax refund will begin given that the receipt noted tax exempt status but GrubHub charged me in the app for the tax, but it clearly is not required to pay it.
